  • The 2012 Best Supporting Actor Oscar Nominees are all ages, but they may want to consider a little plastic surgery before the red carpet show. With a couple of weeks to go, there is still plenty of time for the nominees to undergo minimal plastic surgery recovery.

Kenneth Branagh, My Week With Marilyn

51-year old Kenneth Branagh is best known for his Shakespeare films, casting himself as the famous characters, no matter what their age. The heavy material may have taken its toll on Kenneth, as his face is very craggy, but nothing that a little Botox and filler such as Restylane, couldn’t fix

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Kenneth Branagh has a rugged look.  He could use some Botox to smooth out his forehead and some dermal fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm to his cheek area to give him a youthful and rejuvenated look for the big night.”

    Jonah Hill, Moneyball

28-year old Jonah Hill recently dropped a lot of chunk, revealing his youth and smooth skin.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Jonah Hill looks great.  He is young and doesn’t appear to need any cosmetic enhancements at this time.”

    Nick Nolte, Warrior

71-year old Nick Nolte has had a rough history and it’s taken a toll on his appearance. A history of alcohol and drug abuse has given Nick a very harsh look which could be rejuvenated with a chemical peel and a little Botox in the forehead.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Even in a tux Nick Nolte has a rough look about him.  Botox to his forehead and a chemical peel could do wonders and take years off the look of his skin and face.”

    Christopher Plummer, Beginners

82-year old Christopher Plummer is still acting and starred in multiple films this year. However his career appears to have been made without the benefit of plastic surgery. If Christopher wanted to refresh his appearance for the possible winning shot at the Oscars, he could use a chemical peel and a little Botox to help refresh his slightly droopy eyes.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Christopher Plummer does not appear to have had any cosmetic work done.  Possibly a chemical peel to give his skin a youthful glow or a bit of Botox to his forehead to smooth out some lines and give his eyebrows a slight lift will have him looking his best for the big night.”

Max von Sydow, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Max von Sydow is another octogenarian to make the list. At 82, he could try a little Botox, as well as dermal fillers to help him look as young as he undoubtedly feels.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Max von Sydow does not appear to have had any cosmetic work done.  Botox and dermal fillers can reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and lines and dramatically make someone look years younger.”

Makemeheal.com wishes all the nominees the best of luck and looks forward to seeing who wins the coveted prize.
