As the Oscar red carpet draws closer, Makemeheal.com takes a look at some of the possible plastic surgery preparations going on behind the scenes for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar Nominees.

Bérénice Bejo, The Artist

35-year old Bérénice Bejo is suddenly one of the most popular women in Hollywood, thanks to her lively appearance in The Artist. While her role required a great deal of facial expression, Berenice may use some Botox to help give her eyebrows an arch and she may have also had a nose job in the past to define her perfectly pert nose. She won’t need much in the way of plastic surgery recovery if she decides to use some fillers to accentuate her cheeks before the red carpet event of the year.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Bérénice Bejo appears to have refined the shape of her nose with a Rhinoplasty in the past.  She uses Botox to give her face a very smooth look and her eyebrows a nice arch.  She may also use dermal fillers to give some volume to her cheeks and to smooth out any fine lines.  She looks great and ready for the big night.”

Jessica Chastain, The Help

30-year old Jessica Chastain has a perfectly smooth forehead and face, which could be the result of chemical peels and a little Botox. In addition she may have had a nose job before finding fame on the big screen.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Jessica Chastain’s flawless forehead and complexion are most likely the result of Botox and chemical peels.  She may have had a nose job or Rhinoplasty in the past giving her that beautifully straight and proportioned nose.  She looks fantastic and doesn’t need any cosmetic enhancements at this time.”

Melissa McCarthy, Bridesmaids

41-year old Melissa McCarthy is one of very few nominees to be nominated for her comedic skills. The funny lady may take her appearance seriously, by using a good skincare regime complimented by Botox. If she wanted her lips to match her face, she could do with some lip fillers like Restylane or Juvederm to perfect her pout.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Melissa McCarthy apparently takes very good care of her skin, including using Botox to keep her smooth complexion.  She could use some dermal fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm to augment her very thin lips before the big night.”

Janet McTeer, Albert Nobbs

50-year old Janet McTeer looks very well-preserved for her age, which could be the result of Botox injections. She could take her youthful look one step further by using Restylane or Juvederm in the parentheses around her mouth. In addition, Janet may have had a nose job at some time in the past. As her nose appears to be unusually symmetrical.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Janet McTeer apparently uses Botox to her forehead and may have had a nose job or Rhinoplasty in the past.  She could use some dermal fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm to fill in her nasolabial folds, or the laugh lines, to give her a smooth and youthful look to her face.”

Octavia Spencer, The Help

39-year old Octavia Spencer has taken an interest in her appearance since her nomination. She has confessed to the media to be losing weight and wearing no less than three pairs of Spanx on the red carpet under her dress. She may also use a little Botox in her forehead or have had a nose job in the past. Before the red carpet she could perfect her flawless look with some fillers in the parentheses around her mouth.

Dr. Salzhauer says, “Octavia Spencer appears to have used Botox to achieve her flawless forehead and may have had a nose job or Rhinoplasty in the past.  She could enhance her look by smoothing out her nasolabial folds, or laugh lines, using a dermal filler such as Restylane or Juvederm.”

All of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar Nominees have done a great job looking good with minimal plastic surgery thus far and Makemeheal.com looks forward to seeing how good they look on Sunday’s big night.
