Reese Witherspoon admitting to changing her hairstyle to cover a scar suffered in a recent car accident when she was hit while walking. But she has never really said anything about plastic surgery, until now.
35-year old Reese Witherspoon recently grew bangs to cover up the scar on her forehead from an accident (See Make Me Heal’s story on Reese Witherspoon’s plastic surgery). But that scar seems to be the only plastic surgery the Oscar winner will admit to.
In an interview with UK Glamour, the star seemed nonchalant about plastic surgery, saying “I’m not for it. I’m not against it. I have plenty of friends who do stuff and if it makes you feel good, great … but I don’t think it’s the fix for some sort of unease that you’re having about who you are as a human being. I don’t think I need plastic surgery at this point: Can we just go day-by-day on that one?”
Despite her non-committal stance, Reese looks like that in addition to preventative skincare products such as sunscreen, she may also get Botox injections in her forehead and brows as well as dermal fillers like Restylane and Juvederm in her cheeks and even lips. These are small procedures done in a needle and requiring negligible plastic surgery recovery by most patients.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Reese Witherspoon appears to take great care of her skin using Botox to her forehead and dermal fillers to her cheeks and possibly lips. If she continues with these treatments she can most likely postpone any surgical facial rejuvenation for a few extra years.”
Reese may not consider injectables plastic surgery, or like many stars, she is just playing coy on the subject until she undergoes a major facelift later in her career.
