Robert DeNiro is a Hollywood legend. But the leading man hasn’t had any plastic surgery to look good on the big screen.

In a recent interview, 66-year old Robert DeNiro that he doesn’t believe in plastic surgery to help an actor look younger. Instead, he says, an actor should be able to use their skills to portray a younger person. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Robert DeNiro’s lack of plastic surgery).

“It’s so transparent (surgery). If you’re doing a younger part in a story, say 15, 20 years younger, the audience will accept that, and you can do it in a very real way. But to to do it for yourself?” he told the UK’s Times magazine.

“I was reading something about Meryl Streep, and Meryl was describing how she doesn’t do any of that stuff, and that’s great. Getting old is a natural thing. And you’d better embrace it, ‘cause you’ve got no choice.”

It may interest Bobby to know that many suspect that Meryl has been under the knife, undergoing a facelift (See Make Me Heal’s story on Meryl Streep’s facelift). isotretinoin without prescription

If Robert does change his mind about plastic surgery, he may want to consider a facelift of his own, or even some Botox and fillers like Juvederm and Restylane.

Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, ” Robert DeNiro has not had any plastic surgery at this point. He may benefit from a conservative facelift, as he may appear younger. His natural look is perfectly fine, and any procedures he has performed in the future are strictly up to him. ”

Perhaps some eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and a necklift could also be beneficial for the legendary actor.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “ Mr. DeNiro would look years younger with just some simple botox and dermal fillers to smooth out some of his lines and wrinkles.  As far as surgical enhancements, a conservative face and neck lift and an eyelid lift (Blepharoplsty) would certainly have him looking more like he did in his “Godfather” days. ”

Fans of DeNiro can look forward to seeing him untouched on the big screen in the upcoming thriller Order Viagra Gold Stone, due out in May.

Its so natural that if they have to work on such a platform and attain such a nice popularity within such a short period of time is really a nice thing. Not everyone is naturally so charming and good looking, in this case only surgery can help one to look good and young.

He looks really handsome just the way he is, I’m 29 and I find De Niro way more attractive than George Clooney who has obviously done something to “stop time”, I don’t know, there’s just something about a man who can carry his years with dignity and pride that makes him unbelievably sexy.

I think it is nice to look at someone who has had no work done surgically and know what the options are. I do think that procedures like eye-lifts and such are frequently more done by the female gender, because it is just more acceptable for men to age and go grey than women. I like the idea of being able to age backwards, now if only i had the money DeNiro had it would be possible. Thanks for sharing.

It’s so refreshing to see someone who is accepting of who he is and with what he has, especially in the celebrity world where people are crucified by the public for getting old. I don’t really get the comments that begin with “he would really benefit from x procedure..” as I was under the impression that going under the knife is to benefit the one who wants it. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say and the beholder in this case has clearly said he is good to go, as is.

Personally I think he looks great. He look like a man in his 70′s (in fact younger considering he has all his hair) and needs absolutely nothing
