  • Scott Brown has been in front of the camera even before the special election held for the seat of the late Ted Kennedy earlier this year. Back in the day he posed for Cosmopolitan magazine and as he looks much the same now as he did back then, many have wondered if the pretty boy has had plastic surgery.

Now 50, Senator Brown says he posed for Cosmo back in 1982 to help pay for law school.

At the time, the 22-year old said, “I’m not ashamed of my body. I sure work hard enough to keep it in shape. When you go to the beach, you automatically seek out the hard bodies. Why should it be any different in a magazine?”

Senator Brown lives a notoriously active lifestyle, long-distance running, bicycling and swimming, and his interest in activity, combined with good skincare seems to be his beauty secret, not plastic surgery.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Scott Brown was blessed with good looks – that’s how he ended up on Cosmo’s centerfold.  He appears to be aging nicely.  Besides good genes and good skin care, he does not appear to have had any invasive plastic surgery.”

If Scott Brown has been to a plastic surgeon, it’s been for conservative Botox injections at most.

According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., “Scott Brown has a very natural appearance and does not appear to have had any work done. There is a possibility he had some Botox but that is about all.”

Scott Brown has some very big shoes to fill in the late Senator Kennedy’s seat and he needs all the help he can get, surgical or otherwise.

The must-have shoe brand Jimmy Choo is venturing into unchartered territory. They are releasing a trainer. They will join other luxury marquees such as Christian Louboutin and Rick Owens who’ve diversified into this market. Those brands, like Jimmy Choo have focused on ‘high-top’ trainers. Sebastian Manes, the director of accessories at Selfridges, has just returned from a buying trip to Milan: “where every designer is now in on the high-top act. These trainers are a backlash against shoes being so high — they are about being comfortable and cool at the same time.”

I will never understand how a pair of five-inch stilettos can make you feel ten-inches taller. With a good pair of shoes you feel a little more confident, that bit more luscious and a whole lot more gorgeous! Perhaps that is why shoes are so important to women?

We suspect that Scott- who is an obvious homosexual – has had ‘work done’.
