  • Shauna Sand is more famous for the Lucite stripper shoes she wears on every occasion than for anything else she has done. Shauna is a former Playmate and the ex wife of Lorenzo Lamas, with whom she has three girls. With rumors of a Shauna Sand shoe line and a possible reality TV show swirling around the Internet, Make Me Heal thought it was time to investigate the many plastic surgeries of Shauna Sand.

    Shauna Sand, Botox, Lip Injections

36-year old Shauna’s most obvious plastic surgery is a breast augmentation. According to her Playmate profile, Shauna’s bust size is a 33 inch D. Considering her weight is listed at being a mere 98 pounds on a 5 foot 4 inches frame, it explains why her breasts look so disproportionately large on her small frame. Make Me Heal noticed that since her Playboy shoot back in 1996, Shauna’s nipples have become deformed, much like Tara Reid (see Make Me Heal’s story on Tara Reid’s botched plastic surgery), leading us to believe that Shauna has had more than one breast augmentation, as it hard to believe that Hugh Hefner would have anything less than perfect nipples to appear in his iconic publication. Shauna’s nipples appear to be the result of a botched breast implant procedure, wherein the surgeon removed the nipples to insert the implants and then didn’t put them back correctly, resulting in their wrinkled, odd appearance.

    Shauna Sand, Breast Implants, Augmentation

Shauna also had a rhinoplasty at some point, as her nose is a very unusual shape, especially her perfectly round nostrils. She kept the bump at the end of her nose, but the bridge has been narrowed significantly.

    Shauna Sand, Botox, Lip Injections

At 36, Shauna should be showing signs of aging, but there are absolutely no wrinkles on any part of her face and her eyebrows are preternaturally arched, which can be the result of too much Botox, an injectable filler used to treat lines and wrinkles. It could also be the result of a browlift, which is a more drastic procedure, but likely in the case of Shauna and her penchant for plastic surgery.

Since her modeling and acting days, Shauna’s cheekbones seem much more pronounced, which is likely the result of fat injections, as they aren’t excessively large, the way they would be with cheek implants. She may be helping enhance them with clever contouring make-up as well.

Shauna’s lips are so large that they look as if they are on the brink of exploding. She has clearly visited her plastic surgeon several times to achieve the trout pout that she enhances by using lip liner outside the natural line of her lips. Shauna’s lips are so large that they may be result of collagen injections, rather than less obvious injectable fillers often used to plump up lips like Juvederm or other hyaluronic acid fillers.

Shauna’s overly tan look is the result of too much time in a tanning bed, which can cause premature wrinkles, which Shauna likely avoids through using laser or radio frequency treatments designed to smooth the skin, like CoolTouch, Thermage, Active Fx, or Fraxel. It’s quite possible that she had laser skin resurfacing or a medium chemical peel to help combat the look of aging and the harmful effects of tanning as well.

    Shauna Sand, Tanning

Make Me Heal also suspects that Shauna may have permanent make-up. Permanent make-up is tattooed on to the wearer and can be added to. Shauna never appears without harsh make-up, even on the beach, and permanent make-up may be the reason.

If the rumors of a reality TV show are true, Make Me Heal looks forward to watching Shauna teeter after her kids on her impossibly high hooker heels. Until then, she should find a hobby outside of the plastic surgeon’s office.

      Great article.

Being in the business, I can relate to this.

Whoever writes this know nothing about cosmetic procedures.

Botox is not a filler; it is an organic toxin that paralyzes muscles in the face to prevent the movement that causes wrinkles ie: smiling, scowling and frowning. It is used in very minute quantities. Using it as a “filler” would cost a considerable fortune and probably damage the patient.

Also there is no visible difference in using one temporary lip filler or another. They all do the same thing and look the same. The differences only lie in how long they last.

Don’t come off as a know-it-all expert if you don’tr in fact know it all.

Shauna had natural breasts when she was in playboy (huge, NICE and they did sag like natural), hence the fascination from Lorenzo. It was well known how he adored his barbie doll with nice NATURAL tits. They might be ridiculous looking now (especially after 3 kids!) with augmentation, but you should really know what you are talking about fore sure before you start spewing your crap. Her LIPS and the same nose were on her back in the day. The botox is obvious, but at least get your info straight, because obviously you aren’t since you sound like a hot chick hater and you sound Fing stupid when you talk about plastic surgery and your info is off.

It’s obvious that her nose has been hammered and her lips are WAY out of proportion. You’ve got to be blind not to see it. I am a woman, but I appreciate other women’s natural beauty! However, when it’s plastic and ore-made in a factory,I won’t lie to myself and don’t want anyone else to either! Once au natural, but once doesn’t mean forever!

wow, she is starting to look like Michael Jackson. Someone should stop these surgeons from helping her destroy herself. Yuck!

The expression on Shauna’s face is quite often sad or unhappy. What have we gotten ourselves into that causes nice young women to brutalize their bodies in what passes for beauty, but is really ugly?
BTW, that nipple ISN’T the result of having babies; it is deformed. Poor girl.

Please please people, this is a gossip site…right? Criticizing this writer is pretty childish. Writers create material with somewhat informed OPINION and such. Even with the news on the television, its the same. So what if this Ross character misinformed people, that is why we all have (well hopefully all of us) have the ability to research something we feel is interesting or not factual. Take everything you see and hear as just what it is and make your own opinion. Lets all grow up.

As for her body, most of her face looks different and her breast look a tad higher which is the opposite of what happens over time. So even though they look natural in the picture on the left and, as someone stated, they were natural some time ago the do look different.

Well… every person who has posted here would double-take if they passed her in traffic or on the street… take that for what you will.

And I don’t pity her or celebrate her – she just “is”. What ever happened to live & let live?

I absolutely love Shauna’s look. She lives the total dream!!! We need more plastic. Hot chicks rule…Even hot dudes think so.

First off I think both breast sets were probably implants. Hasn’t anyone else noticed the after pic is in an Underwire supported outfit? Of course they’ll be higher up with the additional support. I doubt very many men attractive or not think that what she’s done to herself is a good thing. I can never understand why women who looked just fine are always mangling themselves with surgery. I might understand implants done by a very good doctor after having multiple kids or disfiguration from Cancer Etc but getting it done by El Cheapo Quack Doctor who clearly does not know what he’s doing is a horrid idea. It’s like buying Talc based foundation for .99 instead of a good mineral makeup for 20.00 just because the talc based makeup is cheaper does not mean it’s a good deal because it will clog your pores and can cause dryness and acne while the mineral makeup have much better coverage and can actually prevent skin issues and your skin looks flawless for many more hours. Sorry about that but I won’t pretend to be a surgery expert, However one thing I know 100% is makeup.

Shauna, you were so beautiful in your “before” picture. Boob job or not, you looked youthful, fresh faced and had a type of beauty that women all over this country yearn for. I have a boob job as well, but I won’t dare go further than that. Please stop hurting yourself. You are a mom and your daughters probably idolize you just as young women all over this country do. I think you and Coco are both amazing and gorgeous and both of you need to stop doing more procedures to yourself. This is coming from a physician who knows. Don’t listen to anyone else, be happy with what you have. People are jealous of you and they will always be mean and nasty when they are envious. Trust me, I deal with it all the time, especially from women. I will never understand why women tear each other down as if we are the enemy, when we should all be empathetic to each other.

She’s still a brain-dead idiot. Maybe if she focused more on what’s in her head than her chest… oh nevermind.
