  • The X Factor judge Simon Cowell is a proud user of Botox, recommending it to fans and friends alike. But apparently he hasn’t tried anything more invasive recently, despite some unusual signs on his neck and ears that indicated plastic surgery may have taken place.

52-year old Simon Cowell is nothing if not vain (See Make Me Heal’s story on Simon Cowell’s Botox). But although he uses Botox routinely, his official camp says that he has not had invasive plastic surgery and that the marks around his ears are not signs that he is undergoing facelift recovery.

New York plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Westreich says, ” From the looks of the photo, I don’t think he had a facelift. Even minimal facelift techniques will have the incision go around the earlobe. They don’t stay exclusively behind. Also, I am not sure if there’s a bandaid on the other side. Clearly, you wouldn’t do a facelift on just 1 side! 40 year old on the left and 60 years old on the right is not a good look.”

“However, the pronounced crease underneath his chin suggests and incision there. Liposuction procedures in the neck often have an incision under the chin and can also have small incisions behind the ear. It’s possible that some sculpting was done there.”

Plastic surgery or not, Simon Cowell is more like to soften his appearance than his criticisms.
