Modern Family’s buxom beauty Sofia Vergara is ragging on women with plastic surgery, so Makemeheal.com decided to investigate whether or not the South American beauty had had any work herself.

38-year old Sofia Vergara told Esquire Magazine, that women with plastic surgery look freaky, not younger and she especially dislikes cheek implants.

“L.A. is crazy. The women all look the same now,” “That thing with the cheeks. Like Madonna. Who do they think they’re fooling? It doesn’t make them look young. You end up looking like a freak.”

Despite Sofia thinking that Madonna looks like a freak, many think the 52-year old performer actually looks great, with all her facelifts and fillers (See Make Me Heal’s story on Madonna’s plastic surgery).

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., said, “Madonna does not look too overdone, and still appears natural. Any work that she had performed to her face was conservative.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr Michael Salzhauer says, “Madonna’s cheeks are a bit overfull for her face.  It is not necessarily from implants though.  Madonna is known for her intense level of fitness which has left her with very little body fat- including in her face.  You can achieve a full look in your cheeks from implants, but also dermal fillers and also fat transfer. Sofia Vergara looks great and doesn’t look like she needs anything at this time.”

Sofia herself may not be entirely plastic surgery free. She is at an age when she might need to Botox or Juvederm fillers to keep her youthful complexion.

Dr. Nassif says, “Sofia Vergara has a very natural look. It is possible she may have had Botox or fillers at some point. If so, any procedures performed to her face were very conservative, and she looks fantastic.”

In past interviews, Sofia has admitted to wanting a breast reduction when she was younger, but didn’t after her mother advised her:

“God is going to punish you if you cut them.”

She also hasn’t ruled out plastic surgery in the future, telling NocheLatina:

“I’m 37, I don’t really think I need it…  but maybe when I’m 45, I‘ll think about it. At 37? Not yet.”

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about plastic surgery, but Makemeheal.com can’t help but wonder what Madonna’s reaction to Sofia’s comments would be.
