Tom Cruise has spent much of his 46 years in front of a camera. Make Me Heal suspects that some of his success is due to plastic surgery rather than the spiritually uplifting Scientology lifestyle he so enthusiastically touts.
Over the years, Tom Cruise has gone through a few noses, as well as wives, including Nicole Kidman (See Make Me Heal’s story on Nicole Kidman’s plastic surgery). His current nose is not as big or bumpy as it was when he was a young man starring in action flicks like Top Gun. This is indicative of a rhinoplasty (nose job).
Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says, “I’ve seen images of him as a younger man. He seems to have had a nose or two.”
Tom Cruise’s nose is by no means small, but it is no longer as prominent as when he was in his early films The Outsiders or Risky Business, indicating that it has undergone at least one rhinoplasty to shave some bumps off the bridge.
Tom’s skin also seems to be unusually youthful and wrinkle-free, although he doesn’t look pulled at all. To stay as youthful as his significantly younger wife, Katie Holmes who’s also a fan of plastic surgery (See Make Me Heal’s story on Katie Holmes nose job), Tom may be taking a page out of his ex-wife’s book and using Botox injections to eradicate wrinkles (See Make Me Heal’s story on Nicole Kidman’s Botox). Or Tom may just be Tom Cruise may also use laser treatments like CoolTouch and Fraxel to get rid of fine lines and sun damage that can make a person appear older.
While Tom’s acting is not as exciting as his personal life, it will be interesting to see whether his daughter, Suri, inherits his or Katie’s pre-op nose down the line.
