The tragic circumstances surrounding singer Whitney Houston’s untimely demise continue to be revealed. The autopsy report was recently made public, indicating that The Bodyguard star had most likely undergone plastic surgery.
48-year old Whitney Houston shocked fans when she tragically died in a Los Angeles hotel room. Reports surrounding her death indicated that sometime in the past, Whitney had had plastic surgery as scars on her body were found that were likely the result after liposuction and after breast augmentation (See Make Me Heal’s story on Whitney Houston’s plastic surgery).
So lets take inventory:
(1) Stomach scars: Probably a tummy tuck. Liposuction scars are usually small and probably would have escaped the eye of the pathologist.
(2) Chest scars: Probably a breast augmentation plus or minus breast lift surgery.
(3) One upper thigh: Probably a scar revision. Maybe not cosmetic. Cosmetic procedures usually occur on both sides.
(4) Left forearm scars: Probably from cutting. Kinda sad. Whitney had a hard life.
On his blog, plastic surgery Dr. Anthony Youn says, “I suspect that the scars on her chest were from breast implants and the ones on her stomach from liposuction or a tummy tuck. Cocaine causes constriction of blood vessels, and when abused can literally create a hole in the septum. If the hole is big enough, it can cause the entire nose to collapse. Her missing teeth could be related to drug use or possible trauma.”
“Whitney had such an amazing voice. I loved her first two albums.”
“It’s so sad that her life became what it did.”
Plastic surgery or not, Whitney’s contributions to music ensure that her fans will always love her.
