Did British Star Cheryl Cole Get a Lip Augmentation?
British star Cheryl Cole is making the gossip columns, this time for inflated lips that indicate plastic surgery, rather than an inflated sense of style.
The 26-year old brunette beauty has never admitted to having plastic surgery, although Makemeheal.com suspects she may have had a breast augmentation, along with some facial fillers on her rise to fame (See Make Me Heal’s story on Cheryl Cole’s plastic surgery).
Now it seems Cheryl may have been trying to hide a lip augmentation, using fillers like Juvederm or Restylane, while strolling through Heathrow airport. British tabloids have reported collagen injections in her lips, although Cheryl’s reps have denied it.
Board certified New York dermatologist Dr Judith Hellman says, “Are you kidding me? How can she even deny it? A bit overfilled by Restylane or Juvederm (collagen is passe now and not used much by most derms or plastic surgeons. The other stuff is better and more effective.) I am presuming she had Restylane or Juvederm, but of course, can’t say for sure….”
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Cheryl Cole clearly had a lip augmentation. Her lips look poutier and fuller than they were in previous photos. Â Restylane is likely the filler that was used for her lips. Overall, her lips look on the large side and she may benefit from a more conservative approach.”
In the past, Cheryl has said she is fine with plastic surgery, but hasn’t been under the knife herself.
“I’ve got nothing against cosmetic surgery.”
“I mean, if someone hasn’t got any boobs and having them done is going to make them a happier, more confident person, then go for it.”
“I wouldn’t deny it if I had cosmetic surgery. I wouldn’t just come out with big boobs and say, ‘No, I haven’t had an operation!”
Cheryl may not have had collagen, but she’s clearly done something to her lips, beyond applying a touch of lip-gloss.
