Heather’s A Hot Momma With A Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift

Posted on August 29th, 2008 in Personal Interviews by Makemeheal.com Staff

See Heather’s Before & After Plastic Surgery Photo Album.

After the C-section birth and breastfeeding of her daughter, Heather (friendname: scarlettsmama), realized that even after losing 60 pounds, her body would never return to it’s pre-preganacy state without the help of a tummy tuck and breast surgery. With the support of her husband, Heather decided that her breasts just needed a lift, and not implants, and that a tummy tuck would be best for the extra skin she had from her pregnancy. While preparing for her procedures, Heather used the Make Me Heal message boards for support, the doctor directory to find more out about her physician from other patients, and even the Make Me Heal store to purchase the healing products she needed. Though recovery was uncomfortable, she had her husband by her side to help her, and when everything was all said and done, she finally has her pre-baby body back in tact.

Heather’s words of advice to anyone considering surgery are:

“If it will help your self-esteem and doesn’t burden you financially: DO IT!!!! Just really do your homework and find a reputable surgeon.”

Please join us for an interview with Heather:

Make Me Heal: When did you first have the idea to have your procedure(s)?

Heather: I had wanted to have the procedures after healing from a c-section and realizing no matter how much excercise I did I would always have a small pannis without surgical intervention.

Make Me Heal: What were your motivations (physical, emotional, social, etc.) behind your decision to have the procedure(s)?

Heather: My motivation was that I just wanted my body to be as close to pre-pregnancy as possible.

Make Me Heal: How long did it take you to make a decision and was it an easy or difficult one to make?

Heather: It took me almost 2 years to make a decision. I would complain to my husband about the excess skin and sagging breast after breastfeeding and he asked me to get a consultation if I was unhappy and look into it. When I finally met with a few Plastic Surgeons the decision became easy for me. The cost was substantial, but do-able and I was ready for transformation.

Make Me Heal: Did your family, friends, and any other people in your close circle give you support, opposition, or did you make this decision without considering them?

Heather: My husband was extremely supportive as were my friends. My mother didn’t understand at first, but was still there for me.

Make Me Heal: How did you research the procedure and come to decide on this particular procedure?

Heather: I researched mostly online. I went to numerous message boards and asked many people who’d already experienced different procedures what there takes were. I had initially along with the TT wanted a breast augmentation and after learning more decided to go with a breast lift. I wanted my breast “perkier”, but not necessarily bigger and was put off knowing that in ten years or left I would have to have new implants put in.

Make Me Heal: Please discuss if you used any of Make Me Heal’s resources such as the message boards, pictures library, doctor directory and doctor reviews, and any recovery and preparation products that you used.

Heather: I used all of Make Me Heal’s resources. People are very honest and friendly/eager to share info. on the site. The picture library really helps you to see results of not just a completely healed person, but all different phases of healing and not just result a Dr. wants you to see, but shows great work and not so good. I checked the Dr. directory/reviews and even met a woman on the site who was undergoing one of the procedures I was having by the same doctor. That was immensely helpful to me. Finally, I was able to order a wedge pillow and a few more products that were in my opinion a complete necessity to aid my healing.

Make Me Heal: How did you come to choose your doctor?

Heather: I chose the doctor, because I felt he was the most confident, had the finest facility and was one of the few clinical trial implant doctors in the country. I had seen two other doctors.

Make Me Heal: Please discuss if you have any role in deciding the type of technique used for your surgery by the doctor, incision placements, implant brand, anesthesia type, etc.

Heather: I didn’t have any role in decision. My doctor was very good, but also a bit arrogant/headstrong about what should be done. I understand since it is ultimately his reputation on the line and he just wants to do his best work.

Make Me Heal: How did you prepare for the surgery?

Heather: You can discuss everything from products you purchased, home preparations, and preparations involving your family and work. If you purchased any products featured on the Makemeheal.com site, please specify them. I prepared for the surgery by ordering the 12″ wedge pillow from Make Me Heal as well as Oleeva silicone strips and Scar Esthetique Cream. I also purchased gauze, hydrogen peroxide, and bacitration.

Make Me Heal: How were you feeling the night before the surgery and on the moments before the surgery itself?

Heather: The night before surgery I was completely calm…it was the night before that which I was feeling really anxious and fearful. I said a little prayer asking to not be alone during my procedures and for the doctor to be healthy on that day and surrendered to the process.

Make Me Heal: How was the recovery process? Please discuss what side effects you experienced. What were the worse parts of the recovery? Did anyone help you during the recovery?

Heather: During the recovery process I was very uncomfortable especially during the first couple of days. The pain medication (Oxycontin) just took the edge off, but hardly subsided the pain for me. It thankfully allowed me to sleep and that is what I did a lot of. Luckily I didn’t have any drains to worry about, but I was very swollen and the worst part for me was having to get up to go to the bathroom. My husband was fantastic helping me walk and fetching me things I asked him for. I didn’t have any side effects, but I wore a nausea patch for 3 days and it saved me from feeling ill due to the pain meds.

Make Me Heal: Please discuss the pain or discomfort you experienced during the recovery?

Heather: With a TT I was hunched over for awhile. Occasionally I felt shooting pains and while the tape is starting to come off the itching is almost unbearable.

Make Me Heal: How well prepared were you for the recovery from physical, emotional, and mental respects? Did you do any research (i.e. online, books, message boards, etc.) to make your recovery smoother?

Heather: I feel I was really prepared for all the emotional and physical hardships that come along with surgery. I remain in good spirits and realized from others that it is a slow healing process and results are not always seen right away. I was mostly discouraged by how long it takes to fit back into my usual jeans comfortably.

Make Me Heal: What are your top recovery tips to other patients?

Heather: SLEEP!!! If having a tummy tuck: Get the 12″ WEDGE PILLOW.-I don’t think I could have slept or gotten up without it. Have things to occupy you by your bed…ie. crossword puzzles, books etc. Hydrate even if you don’t want to.

Make Me Heal: How long did you take off from work? What did you tell your co-workers about taking this time off? Did anyone notice your cosmetic procedures at work and what did you tell them if they asked about it?

Heather: I took 2 weeks off. I hunch a bit at the end of a day, but people just tink I hurt my back or something. My procedures are not fully noticeable since I am clothed and was pretty good about hiding my tummy in the first place.

Make Me Heal: How happy are you with the results?

Heather: I am happy with the results. I may need a revision on one of my breasts as it seems larger than the other and the nipple a bit lower (not happy about having to pay again) All in all I think the work looks very good.

Make Me Heal: How has your makeover impacted your life from personal, social, career, and other respects?

Heather: I buy bikini’s now! I look forward to toning the rest of my body up through hard work at the gym.

Make Me Heal: Would you have done anything differently if you had the chance?

Heather: No. I don’t believe I would.

Make Me Heal: Was Make Me Heal beneficial to you along your journey?

Heather: OH, YES!!! Every bit of this fantastic site was extremely helpful to me.

Has Sarah Palin Gotten Plastic Surgery?

Posted on August 29th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Jet H. Ross

Sarah Palin is the surprise pick of John McCain for Republican Vice President nominee, but that is not the only surprise. A former runner-up at the 1984 Miss Alaska beauty pageant, the 44-year old Palin is strikingly attractive and smart to boot. Given her beauty, Make Me Heal can’t help wonder if the mother of five children has gotten any plastic surgery assistance to maintain her looks.

Sarah Palin, Plastic Surgery

Despite the demands of her job as Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin sure knows how to take care of her skin which she has kept in excellent shape. Her forehead is free from wrinkles, her crows feet around the eyes are subdued, her nasolabial folds (laugh lines) are very mild, and she has no parentheses between her eyebrows (glabellar lines). Moreover, her face is youthful, plump, the cheek pads are nice and full, and her jawline is free from jowls. While it is very possible for Palin to have preserved her youth naturally by living in mellow Alaska, it is not a stretch of the imagination that a woman who occupies the governor’s seat would have some pressure to look the part as well. As a result, Make Me Heal believes that Sarah Palin has likely gotten botox injections on her forehead, as well as fillers like Restylane on her crows’ feet to keep herself looking youthful. Moreover, it is possible that she has gotten some fillers to plump up her cheeks like Juvederm or Restylane, or quite even possibly a more permanent filler like Radiesse. Finally, it is quite possible that Sarah Palin has gotten laser skin resurfacing like Fraxel or Active Fx to keep her skin youthful. Finally, Sarah’s pearly white teeth are the result of tooth whitening and strategically placed veneers.

Sarah Palin, Breast Lift

As for going under the knife, we suspect that Palin has not had any invasive procedures like a face lift or blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and her nose is natural. While her breasts appear perky, it is difficult to tell if she has gotten a breast lift after having five children. For now, this is inconclusive.

McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin spices up the Republican ticket, as she is the second female vice presidential candidate representing a major politic party. More importantly, the addition of Palin injects a lot of youth into the moribund Republican image and makes McCain look a lot better than before.

World’s First Plastic Surgery Patient From 1916

Posted on August 29th, 2008 in Weird, Fun & Tragic Plastic Surgery by Lisa Stanfield

Nearly a century after the fact, pictures of the first person to ever undergo plastic surgery have been released.  World War 1 veteran Walter Yeo sustained horrendous facial injuries, which included losing both upper and lower eyelids while manning the guns aboard HMS Warspite in 1916.

Plastic Surgery

The English soldier was soon after treated by Dr. Harold Gillies in a special sector of Queen Mary’s Hospital. Yeo’s damaged eyelids were treated with a ‘mask’ of skin grafted across his face and eyes. Dr. Gillies, coined as the “father of plastic surgery,” became the first doctor to use skin grafts from undamaged areas on the body to treat such injuries.

“This tragedy catalysed the surgeon to transform the fledgling discipline of plastic surgery,” said artist Paddy Hartley, who has used these images in her exhibitions. “Casualties treated by Sir Harold Gillies included an unprecedented number with horrific facial injuries.”

Dr. Gillies not only set the precedent for treating such war injuries, but essentially jump started the progression of modern age plastic surgery. Gillies’ accomplishments created a foundation for more plastic surgeons to build upon in this modern-day advanced art form.

Chelsea & Hillary Clinton Campaign with Plastic Surgery

Posted on August 27th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Erica Hurtz

When Chelsea and Hillary Clinton made an appearance at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, many were wondering whether the great looking daughter and mother had undergone plastic surgery to help them get out of their awkward phases. Make Me Heal explores the dynamic duo’s most recent appearances.

Chelsea Clinton, Plastic Surgery

In the past, Chelsea has been the unfortunate victim of rude remarks due to her gangly and awkward appearance. During the time her father, Bill Clinton, was president she had frizzy red hair, too much gums in her smile, gapped teeth and a bumpy nose. Now it looks as if the ugly duckling has finally blossomed into a swan at the age of 28. Thanks to a cosmetic dentist and a nose job, chin augmentation and a few other tweaks here and there, including possible temporary facial fillers, Chelsea Clinton looks good enough to rule the world. If yesterday’s appearance in the Denver convention is any indicator, it seems that her parents are grooming Chelsea for a potential career in politics.

The most prominent change in Chelsea is her slimmed down nose, the disappearance of the bump on her nose, her new attractive pearly whites minus the excessive gums, and a new glamorous, retro hairdo.

Manhattan, New York-based Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden also noted Chelsea’s blossoming, telling Make Me Heal, “Chelsea Clinton has undergone a dramatic transformation from her more awkward teenage years. I have not treated her, but from the standpoint of plastic surgery, it looks as if she has undergone a rhinoplasty procedure (nose job) which was nicely and conservatively done to remove the bump from the bridge of the nose, slim the nasal bones, as well as refine and rotate the tip which also appears to be less droopy.”

As nose jobs are frequently done with chin augmentations, Chelsea may have also opted for on to get a more defined jawline.

“She also has likely had chin augmentation, or a chin implant, placed to give her stronger jawline and more aesthetic proportions to her lower face,” says Dr. Walden.

Then, there may also be some fillers at work on Chelsea’s lips which have helped reduce the overpowering gums.

“She has also gotten rid of that gummy smile which might be from non-permanent soft tissue fillers in the upper lip like Juvederm or Restylane to help hide it,” says Dr. Walden.

“She may have even had buccal fat pad removal or just weight loss which as we all know shows up in the face as well. Buccal fat excision is done through an incision inside the mouth and entails the surgical removal of the cheek fat pad that can make people look as if they have pudgy ‘chipmunk cheeks’.”

While it seems certain that Chelsea has undergone a very successful beauty makeover, her mother Hillary, is a little harder to analyze as the former First Lady looks drastically different from photo to photo depending on the lighting and make-up. Last year, when the presidential campaign kicked off, Make Me Heal noted the possible plastic surgery procedures that Senator Clinton may have had over time (See Make Me Heal’s story on Hillary Clinton’s Plastic Surgery Makeover).

hilary clinton plastic surgery before and after pictures

Hillary’s eyes look refreshed, wider and more open, and the eyelids are no longer droopy as they were before. This may suggest that Hillary has gotten a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and may have used Restylane or Botox injections to soften the crows’ feet, wrinkles, and depressions around the eyes. Gone also are the frown lines in her forehead and the parentheses lines (glabellar lines) above her nose bridge between her eyebrows, which is typically handled by Botox injections. Also, Hillary has a fairly taut and clean neckline with no sagging skin, which can be explained by a neck lift. The jawline is tighter and smoother than before, the jowls have been softened and minimized, all of which suggests that she may have a mini face lift. Additionally, Hillary’s skin tone is brighter and it is possible that she has had laser skin treatments such as Fraxel, Active Fx, or CoolTouch to brighten her complexion.

Hillary Clinton, Plastic Surgery

“Hillary is a little harder to pin down. It looks to me as if she may have had Botox to smoothen her forehead and between the brows (which can also elevate them a bit with what we call a “chemical browlift”), as well as soft tissue fillers to possibly plump out the laugh lines and make the jowls less apparent. She may have even had some procedures that do not require the downtime of a facelift, like an eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) or jawline suctioning. But I do not think she has had a standard facelift, because with the campaign she has literally not had the downtime to have such a procedure and recover without getting noticed (bruising, swelling, visible incisions that need time to become imperceptible),” says Dr. Walden.

“She may have had some type of skin resurfacing like Fraxel laser but that still requires a little time for the initial skin pinkness to fade,” adds Dr. Walden.

Hillary Clinton’s advisor Howard Wolfson says that the presidential candidate has not had any plastic surgery. When questioned on the subject previously, Hillary joked with reporters and asked, “Do you want to check for the scars?”

According to the In Your Face blog, doctors think that Hillary could benefit from some additional plastic surgery and beauty enhancement treatments.

Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Don Mehrabi proposes a series of anti-wrinkle Botox injections plus skin-rejuvenating laser treatments.

“Hilary Clinton would benefit from Botox injections to the crow’s feet, forehead, and the area between the eyebrows. Her most significant improvement would be to do a fractional resurfacing procedure to even out her skin texture and get rid of the lines under her eyes,” says Dr. Mehrabi.

“Fillers in her laugh lines and the areas around and below her mouth would be great, but the top two suggestions would be Botox and laser resurfacing,” adds Dr. Mehrabi.

Unfortunately, non-surgical solutions like fillers and laser treatments can only go so far, as Hillary’s budding jowls around her jawline and the beginnings of sagging skin on her neck can only be trimmed off through surgery such as a mini facelift and neck lift.

“Non-surgical approaches would not be able to fool those advanced cameras and perfect lightings. In order for Hillary to look refreshed she would need a mini face and neck lift,” says Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Payman Simoni.

With two Clintons already opting for plastic surgery, it’s only a matter of time before Bill Clinton takes the plunge for a much needed plastic surgery makeover which should include an eyelid surgery and at the minimum some botox injections and laser skin treatments.

Kate Moss Hates Breast Implants

Posted on August 27th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Sam Stets

Kate Moss, Plastic SurgerySupermodel Kate Moss and former cocaine addict makes no bones about her distaste for breast implants which she thinks look awful on her friends who’ve gotten them.

“They are awful. So many of my friends have had them, and they’ve gone wrong. One of my friends’ tits started growling like the giant peach, and blood started coming out the nipple. Then another friend of mine had one that sort of moved up to her shoulder. One tit was normal, and the other was up by her collarbone. And most of them are so hard you can knock on them like a door. I’m not into them,” said the model in an interview.

Kate Moss, 34, must have only seen bad breast augmentations where the implants are placed too high with a shelf-like look, are unnaturally round, and hard-looking, as a surgery performed by a competent plastic surgeon should not lead to these results. As celebrities often get awful plastic surgery results, Kate Moss’ glamorous friends are no indicator of whether breast implants look “awful” as she says.

But Kate Moss did not swear off the possibility that she would get breast implant altogether, as she left the possibility open if her breast started to sag down the line.

“I mean, if I got all saggy, like the sacks some women have after they have children, I’d have them done. I’m not against them, but if you have normal ones, just to have them enlarged for the sake of having big ones… I don’t really like big tits anyway,” she adds.

Make Me Heal has never ran a story on Kate Moss having plastic surgery, but a rumor surfaced about her possibly having gotten a nose job as it now does not seem as longer, flat, and wide as it used to be. However, others dismiss this rumor, believing that her cocaine use contributed to the narrowing of her nostrils and the slight change of her nose’s shape.

Simon Cowell: All Women Over 40 Should Get Plastic Surgery

Posted on August 26th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Male Plastic Surgery by Lisa Stern

Simon Cowell, Plastic SurgeryThe not-so-popular “American Idol” judge isn’t doing much to improve his image. Simon Cowell isn’t very shy when it comes to the topic of plastic surgery. When asked about the prospect of going under the knife, Cowell was eager to express his disapproval of plastic surgery for men. ” I wouldn’t have plastic surgery, it looks ridiculous on guys,” said Cowell (See Simon Cowell on Plastic Surgery).

However, when it comes to women, it seems Cowell thinks differently.

“I’d make it compulsory for every woman over 40 [to have plastic surgery],” he quipped. Considering that Cowell has clearly dabbled in Botox procedures, as he is relatively wrinkle-free on his forehead, this stance doesn’t surprise us.

It seems like Simon Cowell has conflicting views on the role of plastic surgery for men, versus the role for women. Cowell has never been afraid to share his controversial viewpoints, as he’s known for being quite relentless on “American Idol.”

Simon Cowell, Man Boobs, Gynecomastia

While we’re on the topic of Simon Cowell, let us judge him as a plastic surgery contestant.  Simon has crows feet from the sides of his eyes and slight under eye bags, which he may want to correct with a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to get rid of the under eye bags and Restylane to fill in the wrinkles on the sides.  Moreover, Simon seems to be afflicted with man boobs, which he cannot get rid of with just exercise as only going under the knife and having liposuction or male breast reduction can eliminate the breasts.  Simon Cowell is apparently self-conscious about his man boobs and was embarrassed when a young girl did an artistic portrait of Simon Cowell with a pair of boobs. Cowell said, “What are those? What are those? Are you saying I have those? Are you? I’m not very happy.” In medical circles, man boobs are a medical condition known as gynecomastia, which is the development of abnormally large mammary glands in males.

We’ll keep an eye out for more on plastic surgery from Simon Cowell.

Has Plastic Surgery Helped Gerri Halliwell’s Spicier Comeback?

Posted on August 26th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Jet H. Ross

Gerri Halliwell, Plastic SurgeryGerri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice of the girl group The Spice Girls, recently posed for her first official bikini shoot in years.  The incredibly toned mother’s much slimmer body and refreshed complexion has prompted Make Me Heal to take a closer look at whether Gerri had some plastic surgery help.

Geri Halliwell is quite busty, although her breasts don’t appear quite as obviously “done” as some of her fellow Spice Girls (See Make Me Heal’s story on The Spice Girls Breast Implants). Since the early days of her fame, Geri had fairly large C-cup breasts, leading Make Me heal to believe that she got her breasts done at the start of her career.  Recently, we have speculated that she may have gotten an additional surgical enhancement to bring them closer to her singing partners’ D cup size. However, this second breast implant procedure is not confirmed.

Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says, “She [Gerri] has probably had breast implants.”

After 35-year old Geri gave birth a couple years ago, she was frequently seen working out to get her pre-baby body back and Make Me Heal suspects that a breast augmentation (and possible breast lift) was part of her mommy makeover.

Gerri Halliwell also looks very refreshed for a mother of a toddler, leading us to suspect that she may be using Botox injections, temporary fillers like Restylane or more long-term fillers like Radiesse and Sculptra to fill up her face to achieve her plumpy cheeks, and laser skin treatments like Fraxel or CoolTouch as well to achieve a youthful complexion and get rid of some of the wrinkles and frown-lines that motherhood brings on.

Either way, Gerri is spicier than ever and her makeover looks stunningly natural.

Eva Mendes Plans For Plastic Surgery

Posted on August 25th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Erica Hurtz

“Ghost Rider” star Eva Mendes loves showing off her body and is currently featured in a series of risque advertisements for Calvin Klein as well as recent topless photos for Vogue. However, Mendes knows that she won’t always look this good, and in the future would not hesitate to opt for plastic surgery.

Eva Mendes, Eva Mendes Calvin Klein

“When the time comes, I’m going to nip it and tuck it all,” Mendes said in a magazine interview. However, this goes against her former stance, as when she was previously asked about plastic surgery, Mendes was staunchly against going under the knife.

“No, not for me. That’s a brutal operation. Very invasive. I’m really into the subconscious, you know? I wonder if they can hear the doctors talking about you when you lie there. Because you’re out, but you’re still alive. I’d want to be plugged into my iPod or something.”

With Eva Mendes now revising her opinion of plastic surgery, we wonder if she hasn’t already gotten something done and is now just covering her tracks. We’ll have to keep an eye out for Eva.

Has Jennifer Love Hewitt Lost Weight with Liposuction?

Posted on August 25th, 2008 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Sam Stets

Jennifer Love Hewitt is all over the tabloids touting her new slimmer body. It seems like just a few months ago she was flaunting her much heavier body and saying how proud she was of it just the way it was. Now, she is again in the news saying how proud she is to have lost the weight. Whichever body the Ghost Whisperer star prefers, one thing is certain, she’s looking good these days. While few people dispute the fact that Jennifer lost weight by working out and curbing her appetite, some wonder if she resorted to liposuction for some finishing touches.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Liposuction

Jennifer Hewitt is notorious for flip-flopping on how she feels about herself. She previously took a wishy-washy stance last year when Make Me Heal reported on her possible breast augmentation. At the time she said she was amused by the attention her breasts have gotten.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Breast Implants

“It makes me laugh - there’s a hundred other body parts that I feel completely insecure about and would rather no one ever talked about. So if they focus on breasts, it’s fine with me! My breasts have a career of their own.” She never actually admitted to having implants, although the evidence was out there for everyone to see. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jennifer Love Hewitt’s breast augmentation).

Now Jenniefer Love Hewitt has done the same thing with her recent weight loss. At a heavier weight she said she was happy, but now she is happy that she lost weight.

29-year old Jennifer’s weight loss is the result of hard work and diet and exercise as she seems to have lost a reasonable amount of weight over a period of time. As she is quite young to have undergone a liposuction and she has never had any problems with weight, we do not believe she had any liposuction. However, if Jennifer finds that she has any extra pockets of fat that won’t go away with exercise, she may want to consider laser-assisted liposuction procedures like SmartLipo, CoolLipo, or Liposonix that are all minimally invasive with little downtime. She may also consider the controversial Lipodissolve procedure that Britney Spears allegedly had (see the story on Britney Spears’ Liposuction), in which chemicals are injected to melt away fat, or Mesotherapy, similar to Lipodissolve, which uses small needles and amino acids, medications, and holistic compounds to dissolve fat. Thermage, which is often used on the face, can also be used to help tighten loose skin on the body. Finally, if she has any cellulite, she may want to consider Velashape, which Kim Kardsashian and Jennifer Aniston allegedly get all the time (see the story on Kim Kardashian’s Plastic Surgery exploits and Jennifer Aniston’s Plastic Surgery experience). If Jennifer Love Hewitt wants to be low key, she can always get a home device to melt her fat and cellulite like the Wellbox, that so many celebrities have been flocking to (see the Wellbox)

Jennifer looks great now, but Make Me Heal wonders what size the young actress wears now as she claimed to be a petite size 2 when she was 18 pounds heavier.

Kate Beckinsale is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood, playing everyone from action heroines to loving wives with great success. But Make Me Heal wonders if Kate would look so great without having had some plastic surgery along the way to stardom?

35 year old Kate Beckinsale’s breast size fluctuates more than usual, even with the aid of push-up bras and tape that are de rigeur for Hollywood actresses. Make Me Heal wonders if Kate’s ever-changing breast size and shape are due to having implants taken in and out. The insert and removal has left her with significant stretch marks as well as sometimes sagging breasts.

Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia confirms this possibility, telling Make Me Heal, “It looks like she has had breast implants in and out. I’ve seen old image of her looking freshly post-op.”

Kate blames her stretch marks on pregnancy, saying, “A friend of mine kindly sent me those cuttings. But I’ve not had a breast job. The moment those rumors started was when people saw my stretch marks. I don’t know how people think you can go from eight-and-a-half stone to over 12 stone when you’re pregnant and not get them. I’ve got stretch marks everywhere.”

Breasts aren’t the only body part on Kate that fluctuates. Her lips are sometimes luscious and large and other times more natural appearing, indicating the use of lip fillers like Juvederm.

Those are “lip fillers at the very least,” says Dr. Di Saia.Kate Beckinsale, Plastic Surgery

At the very least indeed. Early pictures of Kate reveal a rather mousy looking person, not at all a big-screen favorite. Since then, Kate has had her teeth straightened and whitened. Her face has also filled out, either due to rumored chin and cheek implants or fat grafting, which is the latest way to look fresh and young in a world obsessed with youth.

Kate is indeed a Hollywood success story and a very positive result of plastic surgery.
