The votes are in and here are the awards for the Best Celebrity Plastic Surgery of 2008. We picked the celebrities on our top 10 list by selecting celebrities whose plastic surgery is natural and has not taken away from their natural features and don’t look like they’re over done. Some of these celebs have gotten work over the years gradually, making the work to go unnoticed and giving them the look of never aging – which is how good plastic surgery should be-unnoticeable. Our younger celebrities make the list for having the best nose jobs and breast augmentations in the industry.

1.    Madonna – Although many have come down on the Material Girl for having plastic surgery, Make Me Heal applauds her for once again setting a trend. Madonna’s new facelift is the new standard for plastic surgery. In the past, Madonna has also used laser treatments, Botox injections, and possible eyelid surgery and breast augmentation. 2.    Brad Pitt—Always handsome, fatherhood wrought havoc on Brad’s boyish good looks. Luckily, he had a talented plastic surgeon give him a plastic surgery makeover involving a chemical or laser peel and some dermal fillers, like Restylane and Juvederm to fill in some wrinkles. Dr. Walden says, “His skin is shinier and there are fewer wrinkles on his face, which indicates he had a resurfacing procedure, like a laser called Fraxel or a chemical peel. It also looks like he’s had soft-tissue fillers, like Restylane or Juvéderm, injected into his wrinkles.”

3.    Megan Fox—After being on our list for both Best Breast Implants and Best Nose Jobs, there was no way we could leave the stunning young beauty off our Best List. After having a nose job to remove a bump on her nose that was her only imperfection and getting lip fillers, Megan Fox is amongst Hollywood’s hottest, and her possible breast augmentation only enhances her flawless figure. 4.    Tom Cruise—Since being a Top Gun, Tom Cruise has become a member of Hollywood’s best plastic surgery club. Over the years, he likely had a rhinoplasty to help soften the appearance of his strong nose and may even dabble in Botox injections to help maintain his youthful appearance. 5.    Helen Mirren—Helen Mirren stunned fans on both sides of the pond when she was caught wearing a bikini. Make Me Heal suspects that Helen has remained so good looking thanks to some gradual plastic surgery over the years, including a facelift and necklift and maybe eyelid surgery as well. 6.    Blake Lively—Before being a Gossip Girl, leggy blonde Blake had a rhinoplasty to get rid of her bumpy nose. We think the job was as well as done as her acting on the hit show. See Make Me Heal’s story on Blake Lively’s nose job.

7.    Zac Efron—Zac has become the teenage fantasy of many young girls, thanks to a nose job in the pretty boy’s past. Dr. Sherrell J. Aston says, “It shows the advantage of a rhinoplasty performed well and at the right time for a young man before the height of his celebrity.”  See Make Me Heal’s story on Zac Efron’s nose job.

8.    Katherine Heigl—One of the more controversial stars of television show Gray’s Anatomy, Katherine Heigl has had breast implants, which seem to have helped augment her career. It was a job well-done as they do not seem obviously fake and fit her frame well. 9.    Marissa Miller—Sports Illustrated model has some of the best breast implants around as they are so good that many think they are real. It is possible that they are natural, but incredibly unlikely given their large size on the model’s slim frame. She may have also had them lifted as their largeness makes them likely to sag and likely also had a nose job in the past to get that perfect nasal tip shape. 10. Britney Spears – The list would not be complete without her. The popstar has made a  successful comeback this year and still looks good  after having kids, thanks to some crafty plastic surgery. 2.    Halle Berry—Halle’s beauty makes lists every year and thanks to some of the best plastic surgery around, including a nose job and breast augmentation, the new mother is sure to make lists for years to come. See Make Me Heal’s story on Halle Berry’s plastic surgery.

3.    Kim Kardashian – Kim had a good anti-cellulite treatment, but despite her protests, we still can’t tell if she had a boob job or not so her plastic surgery is still an enigma. See Make Me Heal’s story on Kim Kardashian’s plastic surgery.

4.    Elle MacPherson—Elle is still modeling after 40, thanks to some well-done plastic surgery, including a breast augmentation and/or a possible breast lift, laser cosmetic treatments like Fraxel, Affirm, or Active Fx as well as potential chemical peels and dermal fillers, like Botox, Restylane, and Juvederm. 5.    Christie Brinkley—A tumultuous personal life hasn’t kept Christie Brinkley from looking good. Some careful plastic surgery over the years, including the possibilities of a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), a mini necklift, injectable fillers, like Restylane or Juvederm and some Botox has kept Christie camera ready at all times. This year’s list of the Worst Celebrity Plastic Surgery is dominated by celebrities with atrocious trout pouts who otherwise may look good, but should really stay away from the plastic surgeon’s office.

1. Priscilla Presley—Although Priscilla was amongst several of Hollywood’s elite who received bad Botox, she overdid the plastic surgery long ago, leaving her with a bizarre rather than beautiful look. She has likely had a blepharoplasty, browlift, rhinoplasty, cheek implants, as well as laser skin procedures, chemical peels, and dermabrasion and lip injections. 2. Jordan – Although the British glamour model is on her way to looking good, with her breast reduction indicating that she recognizes the error of her ways, she is still too overdone to be considered an example of good plastic surgery. See Make Me Heal’s story on Jordan’s plastic surgery.

3. Courtney Love—Love’s love of plastic surgery has left with her botched lips, a too done nose, and has also been the subject of many rumors involving over-invasive liposuction and gastric bypass. See Make Me Heal’s story on Courtney Love’s plastic surgery.

4. Lara Flynn Boyle—Lara has one of the worst trout pouts in Hollywood, rendering her nearly unrecognizable. 5. Donatella Versace—As a designer, Donatella seems to have grown too comfortable with needles, as she has been the victim of too many plastic surgeons injections. Donatella’s face is overinflated with fillers in her cheeks and lips, while her chest holds some of the hardest and most uncomfortable breast implants imaginable.

6. Carrot Top—The comedian seems to have become one of his prop skits, as he has more fake parts than real. Beyond the obvious use of steroids, the eccentric redhead also has overused Botox and may have had a browlift in addition to laser treatments, and chemical peels. 7. Tara Reid –The American Pie actress continues to dominate the worst lipo list. In addition, Tara has also had breast implants placed, which left her with misshapen nipples. See Make Me Heal’s story on Tara Reid’s plastic surgery.

8. Thierry Mugler – Thierry is better known for his awful looking alter ego Manfred than for his work as a designer. 9. Chloe Lattanzi—Her mom, Olivia Newton John may have made our list of best plastic surgery, but young Chloe is a plastic surgery victim for sure. From her botched breast augmentation to her overblown lips and overload of dermal fillers, Botox, cheek implants and rhinoplasty, Chloe has clearly spent too much time under the knife. 10. Phoebe Price—Although she has no official title, actress or otherwise, Phoebe Price appears on red carpets from Hollywood to Cannes. Striking not only for her flame-colored mane, but also for her obvious plastic surgery, Phoebe is an essential for our list. Phoebe has the trout pout and breast augmentation of many in Hollywood, along with facial injectables and the requisite nose job, but she doesn’t seem to have the resume. Honorable Mentions:

1. Lindsay Lohan, Brittany Murphy, Taylor Dayne, Shauna Sand tie our first slot because they all have severe trout pouts.

2. Faye Dunaway—Plastic surgery may have been beneficial for the iconic actress if it had been done gradually over time, but suddenly getting work done was unfortunately too much too late for Faye. See Make Me Heal’s story on Faye Dunaway’s plastic surgery.

3. Kim Vo—The celebrity hairstylist seems to be a victim of overstyling from the plastic surgeon’s knife. From his bleached out hair to his stretched out face, Kim Vo is just too much. See Make Me Heal’s story on Kim Vo’s plastic surgery.

4. Melanie Griffith—Mrs. Antonio Banderas was amongst the first to fall victim to the trout pout, as well as breast augmentation, liposuction, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), repeated Botox injections, and a possible forehead lift and facelift. 5. Bruce Jenner – Step father of Kim Kardashian, who is on our honorable mentions of best plastic surgery, has not had the positive experience of his gorgeous stepdaughter. Instead, the former tennis champ looks oddly feminine thanks to a nose job, facelift and blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), as well as possible chin and cheek implants. 6. Jocelyn Wildenstein – The list would not be complete without her – she’s a plastic surgery horror. The “Catwoman” has had so much plastic surgery it’s hard to say how much of each, but it includes: brow lift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), fat grafting and/or cheek implants, a facelift, lip injections in the form of Collagen, and chin augmentation. Dasha Astafieva, the January 2009 Playmate of the Month, 55th Anniversary Playmate and Hef’s latest girlfriend, looks like she has had a lot of plastic surgery.

Not much is certain about the 23-year old Ukrainian beauty, with rumors flying that Hef’s latest addition to the Playboy family has moved into the mansion and others that she hasn’t. What is certain is that she brings a new hair color into the mix, amongst bottle blonds, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson and it has been said that the old girls don’t like the new hottie.

Although unusual for a Playboy, the brunette’s large D-cup breasts are rumored to be her own and not the result of a breast augmentation, although with her thin frame, implants are more likely. The model was formerly part of a girl group NikitA before she made it stateside.

The shape of Dasha’s eyes give her an exotic look, different from the usual look of women with her heritage, which could be attributed to eyelid surgery.

The pert, perfect shape of Dasha’s nose is suggestive of a rhinoplasty, while her full lips and cheeks could be from some dermal fillers.

Most notably, although the 23-year old is young to have wrinkles, the complete lack of them, even when she smiles, could be the result of Botox injections, while her smooth and shiny complexion is the likely result of laser treatments.

According to plastic surgery expert, Dr. Sherrell J Aston,  “Her upper eyelids are less heavy than many women who are Ukrainian so I think she has had an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Her nose definition also looks to me like a rhinoplasty has taken place.  The full cheeks suggest some fillers and the scarcity of facial lines with animation suggest Botox.”

Dasha certainly isn’t the first Playmate to have plastic surgery to improve her already good looks, Hef’s other girlfriends Holly, Bridget and Kendra have all had breast augmentations at the very least.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden tells Make Me Heal, “This may be the first brunette I have ever seen Hugh Hefner date, and Dasha Astafieva is obviously not shy.  It appears she has probably had some type of skin resurfacing procedure (laser or chemical peel) to keep her facial skin as smooth and bright as her “other area” skin, and Botox to keep her brow high and forehead furrow-free.   It would not be surprising if she had received facial soft tissue fillers to keep her lips and cheeks plump. Although the hyaluronic acid fillers are very popular in the US, in Europe there are many other types to choose from that aren’t FDA approved here.  As an aside, she actually looks better without all of that makeup on.”

As Dasha makes her US debut, Make Me Heal expects to see a lot more of the Russian beauty (pun intended).

For over a decade, sultry Carmen Electra has been heating up the cover and pages of Playboy magazine. With her current appearance on the cover of the 55th Anniversary issue of the iconic magazine, Make Me Heal wondered, what plastic surgery the stunning beauty had to land on the cover.

36-year old Carmen Electra, nee Tara Leigh Patrick, has had an obvious breast augmentation, giving her incredible curves. She reportedly went from a respectable 32B cup to an over the top DD cup. Although the change likely launched her career, she has been quoted as saying she wishes she hadn’t gone quite so large.

She explains, “I didn’t like it at first. I really didn’t want to go as big as I ended up going. It was nice that I didn’t have to wear a push-up bra anymore, but I could have left myself alone. I didn’t need to do it.”

Although her breast implants are the most obvious example of plastic surgery, Carmen has likely been under the knife for other work as well. In the past, she has been rumored to have had eyelid lift, which seems likely as her eyes are wide open to reveal her baby blues.

Like many glamour models and actresses, she probably also had a minor rhinoplasty to narrow her nose. And as she has aged, she likely gets Botox injections to get rid of signs of aging in horizontal lines across the forehead and around the eyes. Her naturally full lips may also now be augmented by judicious amounts of filler.

According to plastic surgeon, Dr. Sherrell J. Aston, “Carmen Electra is a beautiful girl and would be great without any plastic surgery. She appears to have had a very good breast augmentation several years ago  Her nose is shorter and more defined than earlier pictures and her upper eyelids appear less heavy than several years ago. Botox and a small amount of fillers are possible. Although she has always had nice full lips. I see no signs of any body contouring surgery and she certainly does not need it.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden has also noted the slight changes in Carmen’s appearance over the years. She tells Make Me Heal, “Carmen Electra looks great as always. She has undergone breast augmentation in the past, and has possible had a blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) as well as Botox and lip fillers to help put the brakes on aging.”

“You never know if someone whose body looks this evenly slim has also had a little liposuction, but her magazine spread photos are also probably retouched as this is standard in the industry.”

In addition to appearing in men’s magazines and bad movies, Carmen is also known for having her own line of striptease workout videos, which likely help her keep her in shape.

Carmen looks beautiful and, with the exception of her breasts, natural as well, thanks to some very well done plastic surgery.

Last week, when Kim Basinger made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of the film While She Was Out, Make Me Heal thought we spotted signs of plastic surgery on the stunning actress.

55-year old Kim has long been a Hollywood sex symbol, appearing in such notable films as 9 1/2 Weeks and Batman. But her skin elasticity is just as firm as it was back then, a likely sign of plastic surgery.

Kim’s skin is unusually firm along her jawline, usually a dead giveaway for a facelift.

According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California, “The after photo may be indicative of a facelift. Her jaw line looks too youthful. She looks good. Her cheeks are still too perfect.”

Indeed Kim’s cheeks have always been high, so it is unlikely that they are the result of an augmentation or fillers. It also does not seem that she has used anything like Botox or fillers like Restylane because her face is still expressive and crinkles when she smiles.

Kim has never admitted to using cosmetic surgery to help maintain her looks, but she is rumored to be a fan of collagen therapy gel, a hydrolysed wheat protein system that, when applied to the face, sits in fine lines, plumping them out and has a similar effect to injectable Botox.

A few years back, plastic surgeon Alex Karidis told the Daily Mail that he suspected Kim used fillers around her mouth to help decrease fine lines and may have also had eyelid surgery.

He said, “I am absolutely convinced that Kim has had some filler put into her lips and work done around the mouth.”

“If you look carefully, there is a slightly raised area above her top lip - a sign that she has had some kind of injectable filler put in to plump up her lips and make them project more.”

“Surgery-wise, she looks like she has had an upper eyelid job with a small slither of skin removed from her lids to take away the heaviness around the eye area. In 2004, her eyelids were slightly impinging on her eyelashes but two years on they no longer are.”

Whatever magic Kim is using to look good, it is certainly working for her, as she looks as fit and radiant as ever.

Britney Spears’ personal life may be a circus, but her body is beginning to seem like one too, with its ongoing plastic surgery transformations.

Make Me Heal has long pondered the mystery of Britney’s ever fluctuating chest size, which has gone up and down seemingly countless times over the years. Now, the pop-star may once again be decreasing. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Britney Spears’ plastic surgery).

Online sources are reporting that Britney Spears wants a breast reduction. The sometimes troubled pop diva is quoted as saying, “At the moment I hate them. I want them smaller … I’m tempted to have a breast reduction so I can slink into some amazing stage outfits for my next set of shows. I know they look sexy but sometimes they get in the way.”

Make Me Heal suspects that rather having a breast reduction; Britney wants to have the size of her implants reduced. Britney’s revelation came shortly after she celebrated her 27th birthday wearing a low cut dress that barely covered her assets.

Britney’s love/hate relationship with her breasts may explain why the singer is sometimes said to have breast implants and sometimes not. Perhaps she goes up a size when not on tour and then uses a smaller size or has the implants removed for when she is frequently performing.

Over the years, Britney has been rumored to have several breast augmentations, liposuction procedures, a nose job and tummy tuck.

Make Me Heal hopes that Britney’s latest attempt to look good is successful and doesn’t land her in the loony bin yet again.

The 007 Film Franchise has long been as well known for its sexy Bond girls as for its gadgets. So when the new Bond film Quantam of Solace was released last month, Make Me Heal looked forward to seeing whether or not the new Bond girl, Olga Kurylenko had as much plastic surgery as her predecessors.

Before making her debut as an actress, the 29-year old Ukrainian beauty was a model. Many models undergo plastic surgery to help them fit in with their peers, and as Olga has no problem with nude scenes, it seemed likely that she had undergone a breast augmentation, a common procedure for models.

Olga’s breasts are fairly large on her thin frame, but they aren’t so large that they couldn’t be natural, nor do they ride high on her chest, leading Make Me Heal to believe that they are natural breasts.

Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says agrees, telling Make Me Heal, “She seems without implants, from what I can see.”

Olga also starred in this year’s Max Payne and is sure to have an exciting career ahead of her.

Caroline Kennedy is following in her politically active family’s footsteps as she is rumored to be taking over the Senate seat formerly occupied by Hilary Clinton. But by taking on the responsibilities of Senator, is she also taking on the Former First Lady’s penchant for plastic surgery?

Make Me Heal has noticed Hilary’s refreshed appearance and attributed it to some well-done plastic surgery, including eyelid surgery, dermal injections, facelift and laser treatments (See Make Me Heal’s story on Hilary Clinton’s plastic surgery).

But as Caroline is rumored to be preparing for Hilary’s seat, it does not look as though the 51-year old mother of two has had plastic surgery.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden tells Make Me Heal, “Caroline Kennedy has strong facial features that run in her family.  These include a square jaw and strong chin, aquiline nose, and wide set eyes. I do not think she has had anything done, but who knows?  Maybe one day she’ll follow in Jackie O’s footsteps.”

However, Facial plastic surgery expert Dr. Paul Nassif has noted that a bump in Caroline’s nose that has seemed to disappear, indicating that she may have had a minor nose job in the past.

He tells Make Me Heal, “I think she has had a rhinoplasty, it looks like her hump has been removed. This is as best as I can tell since there is no real profile.”

Indeed, staying out of the political arena means that Caroline doesn’t have the stress of policy-making on her shoulders. But as the only surviving member of the Camelot Dynasty, she has had enough personal trauma to take a toll on her face. Her father John F. Kennedy was assassinated during his presidency, her mother, fashion icon Jackie O died of cancer and her brother, JFK Jr. was killed in a private plane crash along with his wife.

In the coming years, Caroline may indeed turn to plastic surgery to tighten up any lose ends that begin giving away her age.

Until then, Make Me Heal awaits for the official word that Caroline will definitely take over the Senate seat occupied by Hilary Clinton.

Lauri Waring may no longer be one of the core members of the hit reality TV show Real Housewives of Orange County. But she’s had enough plastic surgery to put her costars to shame.

On the show, approximately 47-year old Lauri has been open about her Botox use, even going under the needle on camera and talking her fellow housewives into having the procedure. But she has insisted that Botox is the extent of her facial plastic surgery, despite evidence to the country.

All of the housewives on the show having obvious breast augmentations and they delight in showing them off with deeply cut shirts and loud jewelry. Lauri is no exception, showing off jewels as stunning as her large implants.

But Lauri hasn’t been open about other plastic surgery procedures, including a nose job in the past and lip fillers. A recent photo of Lauri before her television debut recently surfaced, showing a pretty, though not plastic young mother, with a bigger nose than Lauri has on the show.

Lauri’s surprised expression could be the result of overindulging in Botox, or the result of a browlift. She also has very tight, pulled skin, which could be because of a facelift. But all the make-up she wears as an Orange County housewife makes it hard to tell which is temporary artifice and which is surgical enhancment.

Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery expert Dr. Paul Nassif says, “her after picture reveals a narrow, pinched typical orange county rhinoplasty. Her brows are elevated indicative of a brow lift and she may possibly have had a face lift.  Lots of make up as well.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden also noted the changes in Lauri’s appearance from the time of that photo until the present. She tells Make Me Heal, “Lauri Waring appears to have undergone a rhinoplasty to slim and narrow the bridge of her nose, as well as likely having gotten injectables like Botox (hence the ultra-smooth forehead) and Restylane or Juvederm to plump the laugh lines (nasolabial folds) and lips.  It also looks like she has undergone breast augmentation as well.”

Lauri’s decision to leave the show must have been hard, but Make Me Heal applauds her decision to put her family first. However, we caution her to lay off the plastic surgery as she becomes more obviously plastic-looking with each injection and alteration.
