Since she went from Fly Girl to Diva, Jennifer Lopez has sparked rumors of plastic surgery. Now she has finally spoken out on the subject.

For years, Make Me Heal has reported on 40 year old Jennifer Lopez’s various plastic surgery rumors, including a nose job, cheek implants, and a lip reduction, breast augmentation, Botox or Restylane injections as well as SmartLipo and laser treatments like Fraxel, Pixel, or Active Fx. Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J Aston says, “Jennifer Lopez is part of a Hollywood a baby boom that we have seen over recent years. However unlike some of the other stars she has said it wasn’t easy for her to loose the pounds. In my opinion it is likely that she has undergone liposuction to help with the stubborn trouble areas. After reviewing her photographs I do no think Mrs. Lopez is unfamiliar to plastic surgery. I estimate she has had several procedures like Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, and her Cheek Bones appear to be more contoured than in her earlier pictures. Each procedure has been done very tastefully and she does not appear overdone by any means. She is a very attractive talented woman and I wish her the best in her new role as a mother.”

More recently, Make Me Heal pondered whether or not Jennifer turned to plastic surgery after having her twins, Max and Emma. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jennifer Lopez’s Mommy Makeover).

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “She looks radiant on the cover of the September issue of InStyle magazine. She had twins, Max and Emma and reportedly gained 50 lbs during her pregnancy. She does look slimmer, so diet and exercise are definitely in her regimen. Sometimes after multiple births mothers are often left with excess skin and fat around the lower abdomen. An abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck) is a good solution to remove this excess skin that is hard to get by exercise and diet alone.”

Jennifer recently admitted to having trouble losing all the baby weight.

She said, “I thought the weight was going to drop off easily because I’d been in shape my whole life. But it wasn’t easy. It was an uphill struggle. I had gained about 50lbs while pregnant. The first 30lb dropped off like that and I was so pleased. Then I had to lose the last 15 or 20lbs that just didn’t want to go. I had to diet and work out a lot.”

She went on to reveal that while she considered having plastic surgery, she ultimately decided against it, although it may still be in her future plans, “I have to say I feel awesome! I feel the same way I felt when I was in my 20s.

“I don’t see myself having any plastic surgery, but I’m not at that point yet, so I don’t know. I don’t know how I’ll feel when I’m older. But I’m more of a natural person and I believe in beauty not being an outside, physical thing. Luckily, I’m used to seeing myself everywhere now that I no longer obsess about the way I look.”

New York plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “At forty years old, Jennifer Lopez, can make dramatic changes in her body just through diet and exercise. So, it is hard to tell if she has had any plastic surgery help.”

While Make Me Heal thinks it unlikely Jennifer is as natural as she claims, she certainly looks as stunning as ever.

Actor Jude Law always seems to have trouble with women, first with his wife, then with his nanny. Now, he’s apparently about to be a father again, thanks to his relationship with budding actress Samantha Burke. Make Me Heal investigates the unknown actress and whether or not she has had plastic surgery.

Until recently, the identity of Jude’s baby mama remained a secret. Now it has been revealed that 24-year old actress and model Samantha Burke is the mother of 36-year old Jude’s unborn child.

Recent photographs of the soon to be mother revealed more than just a growing belly. They also revealed what could be signs of plastic surgery, including a nose job and what could be breast implants, although the larger breasts are more likely the result of her pregnancy than the knife.

New York plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Samantha Burke may have had a rhinoplasty when comparing more recent photos to her older photos. In one of her pregnancy photos she appears to have a natural ptosis of the breast. So, it is difficult to say for sure if she has had implants.”

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “Jude Law’s girlfriend has indeed changed her hair color from blonde to brunette, added some bangs and maybe undergone rhinoplasty to make her nose very straight and narrow. She’s also added a baby bump, and her breasts are larger because she’s pregnant!”

Nose jobs are often accompanied by chin implants to help balance the face and this may be the case for Samantha.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery says, “Samantha looks like she’s had some work on her nose as well as a chin implant to accentuate it. Her nose looks narrower with less show of her columella (the part that sometimes hangs down in the middle).”

Soon-to-be-23-year old star of The Hills reality show Heidi Montag recently posed for Playboy. While the Bible thumper didn’t appear nude, she did appear clad skimpily enough to reveal her breast implants as well as her thoughts about plastic surgery.

Heidi has been open about her plastic surgery since she first underwent a rhinoplasty and breast augmentation a couple years ago. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery).

Of her initial decision, she says in her Playboy display, “When I was shopping for my boobs, I wanted the best, so I sat down and flipped through a bunch of Playboys.”

Since her cosmetic surgery “coming out,” Heidi has also dabbled in lip injections, displaying her filled lips on her reality show. (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Montag’s lip injections).

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery says, “As Heidi ages, she will not be immune to the signs of aging that all women face. While she looks stunning in this photo, with time, she’ll face loss of elasticity in her midface with sagging cheeks, appearance of wrinkles, and droopy eyelids.”

In Heidi’s recent spread in Playboy magazine, she also revealed to her interviewer, new husband Spencer Pratt, that she is already considering more plastic surgery in the future. She said, “I plan to get a few more upgrades. … I’m sure as I get older I’ll need some touch-ups.  I’m definitely not done with my surgical quest.  I think I want to go bigger on my boobs for [Spencer]. … Let’s do [another Playboy photo shoot] again when I get the upgrades.”

On his blog, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn notes, “I think she’s got a fantastic figure. Her breasts fit her frame nicely. It’d be a shame if she has larger implants put in, as then she would become disproportionate.”

Heidi’s plastic surgery so far has been fairly judicious, but Make Me Heal and our expert panel fear that if she has any more cosmetic procedures, she may begin to look overdone.

New York plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Heidi Montag seems open about plastic surgery and that is great. I would hope she shows restraint and leaves well enough alone. She looks great and it would be a shame if she “overdoes” it, like so many people we know.”

Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J Aston says, “Heidi Montag has not been reserved about her plastic surgery experiences in the past and recently stated she would not be opposed to more in the future. To date she has had a Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation and fillers. I would advise her to refrain from further surgery for a while, as she is very young and beautiful.”

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “She is a beautiful young woman who has gone public with her breast augmentation and nose job, and I don’t believe she needs any more cosmetic surgery. Injectables such as Botox are excellent methods to keep looking young but she does not need any now.”

In the ever-changing world of reality TV, not much has changed on one of the genre’s most-watched shows, American Idol. That is until kooky and warm-hearted judge Paula Abdul departed from the show. While fans may be frowning, Make Me Heal thinks Paula is looking better than ever, thanks to some plastic surgery.

At 47, Paula has already worn many different hats, as a dancer, choreographer, pop star, designer and most recently America’s most beloved judge on American Idol. Now that Paul has departed AI, it seems that she as she moves on to bigger and brighter things, she has also brightened up her appearance.

Paula is likely using injections like Botox to keep her eyebrows at their peaks. She likely also uses fillers like Juvederm or Restylane in the lines to keep her face looking full of youth.

On his blog, plastic surgery Dr. Anthony Youn reveals, “Paula may have had some work done in the past. I see two major plastic surgery possibilities. First, her nose looks thinner and shorter, possibly due to a rhinoplasty. Second, her eyebrows appear to have that arched ‘Botox Brow’ look.”

New York plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “In the most recent photo of Paula Abdul, she does have low medial brows and peaked lateral brows which would make one suspect Botox Cosmetic use. However, the photo also looks airbrushed or photoshopped, so it is hard to tell what is real and what is not.”

Paula may also have had a browlift to help enhance her youthful appearance and keep her eyes from looking tired.

Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J Aston says, “I believe that Paula still looks great and is aging very well. I suspect that she has had regular Botox and fillers like Restylane or Juvederm to maintain her looks. It is also possible that she has recently undergone a Brow lift as her upper face looks raised and wrinkle free. Ms. Abdul also maintains a healthy weight and exercise regimen, which is beneficial to staying and looking young. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

There doesn’t seem to be any more major nose work but her cheeks are thinner and her jawline smoother. Although she may have had injectibles here, it’s more likely she’s had either a lift or lipo.”

Paula is looking better than ever and Make Me Heal looks forward to whatever she does next.

Macho potty-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has finally admitted to using Botox. Like other gossip fiends, Make Me Heal suspected as much all along.

At 42 years old, Gordon Ramsay looks significantly older than just past middle-aged, with his cragged chin and the deep furrows that surround his eyes and mar his forehead. But last year, the former football player began to look much more softened and relaxed, leading to rumors that he had some work done, or gotten Botox injections, which he denied, dancing around the issue with comments like “I’ve just come back from LA – do you think the Botox has worked?” (See Make Me Heal’s story on Gordon Ramsay’s Botox injections).

A the time, Make Me Heal compared the Hell’s Kitchen star to another British import, Simon Cowell, who has also notoriously had Botox injections.(See Make Me Heal’s story on Simon Cowell’s Botox). In a recent interview Gordon not only revealed having had Botox, but also using the same doctor as Simon.

He says, “’Yeah, it’s Simon’s fault. I had lunch with him and he leaned over and started prodding my chin saying, “Mate, you’ve got to do something about this”. I was like, “F*** off!”

“I mean, I know I’ve always had a face like Freddy Krueger, but more and more people were commenting on my chin. A make-up artist actually said to me, “God, what happened to you? Did you have an accident when you were little? Did you fly through the windscreen with no seatbelt on?” I mean, f***!”

“Anyway, I was getting a complex for the first time in my life, so I did it. Botox. A jab here and one here. And no one has f****** noticed.”

“When I was talking to my mum about all the c*** that’s been going on, and telling her I was going to do this interview, she said, “Keep your chin up”. I said, “Yeah, well at least I’ve got a new one of those”, but it went over her head.”

Now that Gordon has admitted to softening up his face, maybe he will also considering softening up his language so that his interviews are printable and coherent.

Katie Price, formerly known as the British glamour model Jordan, is considering going under the knife yet again. Katie’s latest project in plastic surgery is to have her breast implants reduced.

While Katie Price is second only to Posh Beckham in wealth in the UK, Make Me Heal has long been keeping readers on this side of the pond appraised of the curvy beauty’s numerous plastic surgeries.

31-year old Katie has always been open about the plastic surgeries that have transformed her into her alter-ego Jordan. They include: breast augmentations, breast reductions, lip injections, and a vaginal rejuvenation. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jordan’s plastic surgery).

Although Katie makes her home in the UK, she jet-sets all over the world and in a recent interview revealed she travels to Los Angeles every three months to get her hair extensions done.

In the same interview, Katie also revealed plans to have another breast reduction and get some Botox injections as well.

She said, “Fifteen grand the whole thing costs for my flights and my hair.”

“I’m already booked in for when I go back. My boobs are going smaller. I may just get a bit of Botox done too.”

New York plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Katie Price/Jordan’s desire for a second breast reduction is not surprising. The weight of heavy breasts can be very taxing on the skin support and the musculoskeletal system. I highly recommend the use of Botox. Botox Cosmetic is useful in reducing dynamic wrinkles and, over time, improvement in static wrinkles. Botox reduces stress on the skin and give your face an overall glow.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J. Aston says, “I am not familiar with Ms. Price or her work but after reviewing her pictures it looks like she has had several plastic surgery procedures. Her breast implants are very large and do not look natural. I would agree with Ms. Price that perhaps a smaller implant size might give her a more appealing look. I would recommend Botox in moderation as well.”

Katie seems to be recovering from her split from her husband Peter Andre rather nicely and some more plastic surgery may be just the thing to help her heal.

America has welcomed British glamour Jordan also known as Katie Price and all her care and plastic surgery. But is America ready for another British import with plastic surgery? Make Me Heal investigates.

Although she is a frequent favorite of British tabloids, Chantelle Houghton is just beginning to make a name for herself on this side of the pond. The soon to be 26-year old rose to fame in her native UK for being the only non-celebrity on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. Now known as “TV’s latest reality millionaire,” Chantelle is a wealthy woman in her own right, similar to her role model Jordan (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jordan’s plastic surgery).

Although she once worked as a Paris Hilton look-alike, Chantelle followed in her idol Katie Price’s footsteps and invested in some extremely oversized breast implants. Her new look is a far cry from the notoriously flat-chested heiress’ look (See Make Me Heal’s story on Paris Hilton’s plastic surgery).

Chantelle’s breast augmentation is rumored to have taken her to an impossible to contain 32DD.

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Chantelle’s breasts do not even fit in her dress, but I think she has achieved the look she wants.”

If Chantelle is still as big a fan of Katie Price as she used to be, she may decide to follow her example and get the size of her implants reduced.

Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J Aston says, “In my opinion Chantelle’s breasts are indeed too big for her body type, I would recommend a smaller implant for her.”

Time will tell if Chantelle continues to follow in Jordan’s footsteps, and if she does, her next step will be a breast reduction.

Heidi Fleiss made headlines in 1997 when she was dubbed “Hollywood Madam.” Now the prostitution ring leader is making headlines for her appearance, which has been overdone with plastic surgery.

At 43 years old, numerous plastic surgeries have left drug addicted Heidi looking even older than before her incarceration. Speculation about Heidi’s multitude of procedures includes: upper lip filler, brow lifts, veneers, rhinoplasty, facelifts, cheek implants, and a chin implant.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “We’ve seen Heidi looking better in days past. Looks like she’s had an endoscopic browlift and likely upper and lower blepharoplasty. Her nose is crooked and twisted. Her cheeks are sagging making her face look more elongated than they should. Her lips looks like they’ve been injected.”

The lifelong vegetarian and troubled woman also likely uses Botox, which Make Me Heal supposes to be her only legal injection in some years.

Manhattan plastic surgery Dr. David Shafer, “It is hard to tell for sure from the pictures, but Heidi Fleiss’ face appears operated on. She also appears to have fillers or implants in her cheeks. Her forehead is smooth and likely the result of Botox Cosmetic, but her crow’s feet are dramatic and could use some treatment as well.”

There is no doubt that Heidi is a troubled soul, but plastic surgery clearly isn’t the answer for that.

Actress Courtney Thorne-Smith rose to fame on the 90s evening soap Melrose Place. Now that Melrose Place is getting a makeover, Make Me Heal wonders if the original stars are getting redone as well.

42-year old Courtney has largely dropped out of the limelight since Melrose Place ended in the late 90s. But when she resurfaced on the semi-popular sitcom According to Jim a few years later, many wondered if she had had some refreshment.

Always pretty, Courtney has been looking even more youthful and refreshed as of late. While she is looking as though Botox is clearly a part of her beauty regime, smoothing out fine lines across her forehead and crow’s feet around the eyes, it is somewhat uncertain as to whether Courtney has taken more drastic measures.

New York plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “She looks refreshed and awake. If she did have some Botox whoever administered it did so conservatively, therefore she has good results.”

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Courtney Thorne-Smith looks great. She seems to have Botox on board, since her glabella (between her eyebrows) is smooth and her forehead is free from wrinkles. There is nothing wrong with smooth skin.”

Some photos indicate that if Courtney has had more invasive plastic surgery, the procedures include a blepharoplasty and possible browlift.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J Aston says, “Courtney Thorne-Smith looks great and I think it may be from a combination of weight loss, Blepharoplasty and Botox. Also, her new fresh hairstyle frames her face nicely and gives her a very young look. In my opinion her surgeon did a great job with giving her a natural result.”

Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “It’s a little unfair to compare the photos since Courtney is squinting in the sun in one and the other’s at night, but she may have had a browlift that pulls up her nose a bit. Looks like she has had some Botox to her masseter muscle to soften her jawline and her jaw looks great.”

While Courtney hasn’t admitted to making an appearance on the new version of Melrose Place yet, it seems likely that she’ll show up sometime, to boost her own ratings if nothing else.

As part of Hollywood’s “Aussie Posse,” many wonder if actress Naomi Watts is following in her BFF, Nicole Kidman’ss, footsteps and getting Botox injections. Make Me Heal investigates the evidence for and against the petite blonde beauty.

Many women participate in “Botox” parties with their friends, so it is not unheard of that because one member of a group of friends is getting facial injectables, then they all are. This seems to be the reasoning for the rumor behind those who suspect 40-year old Naomi Watts of having Botox. Her best friend Nicole Kidman has done it, so must she be.

While Naomi looks youthful, she does not have the same frozen look of a person who uses Botox on a regular basis, like Nicole Kidman. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Nicole Kidman’s plastic surgery).

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “Although she’s friends with Nicole Kidman she does not look like has gotten any Botox treatments.”

While Naomi may have tried Botox, she most likely has given up having the injections on a regular basis because she shows some signs of aging.

Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “It’s hard to say whether or not Naomi has used Botox in these photos or whether the Botox is wearing off. She still has crow’s feet next to her eyes and fine wrinkles on her forehead, although her glabella is flat, shedding that angry between the brow look.”

“Botox or not, Naomi is stunning.”

While Naomi clearly takes good care of her skin, the few lines and crow’s feet she has indicate that the actress is not using Botox on any sort of regular basis.

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Naomi Watts does not have a Botox look. She has visible forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet. If she is using Botox Cosmetic, then she needs some more.”

When the Daily Mail of London asked her whether she would have plastic surgery, she replied, “God, no! People my age and younger are having so much work done, but my view is that it’s a terrible thing to mess with your face. As an actress, my job is to express myself. No, seriously, we’ve got to allow ourselves to age gracefully. And somebody’s got to play the old ladies.”

Naomi’s regular yoga practice seem to be working just fine for her, and if she does use Botox, she will likely be more conservative about than good friend and notoriously frozen faced Nicole Kidman.
