Did Joan Jett Have Some Rockin’ Plastic Surgery?
Joan Jett is an 80’s rock icon that has retained her cool and her signature black locks. But how cool would the lead Blackheart be without plastic surgery?
51-year old Joan is so cool that Hollywood has chosen her life to be the centerpiece of a biopic starring none other than Twilight star Kristen Stewart (See Make Me Heal’s story on Kristen Stewart’s plastic surgery).
But unlike Kristen, Joan may have succumbed to the Hollywood pressure to be forever young and been under the knife for a nose job or two that has left her with an unusually shaped nose.
OcBody Plastic Surgeon Dr John Di Saia says, “Her nose certainly maybe multiple times.”
According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., “ Joan Jett has surely had a rhinoplasty. Her tip is much more defined than it once was, and the bridge is slightly narrower. She may have had a facelift at some point, which is evident when she smiles. Facial fillers are not out of the question either, and it is likely she has had some Botox in the forehead as well.”
In addition to a possible nose job, Joan may also use Botox to keep wrinkles at bay.
Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J Aston says, “In my opinion it appears that Ms. Jett has had Botox treatments to her brow area. I think that she looks great and is aging well.”
If Joan wants to further enhance her youthful appearance, she may consider a touch more Botox in her crow’s feet region and a lower eyelid surgery.
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Joan Jett does not look like she has gone through any major transforming plastic surgery. She does look like she would benefit from a lower skin only blepharoplasty and Botox Cosmetic to her crow’s feet.”
Joan is certainly a colorful character, despite her love of black and Make Me Heal looks forward to the release of the film The Runaways, due out next year.

Without an older snap I can’t tell. She looks her age to me-plenty of character lines partially covered by makeup. You go, lady!

FYI. Jett’s unusually shaped nose was the result of her falling off a bike at age six. It is was well documented during her days with the Runaways and has nothing to do with nose-jobs.

For sure she had a nose job, just look at other photos.
Plus she had something done with her cheeks. Hey if that is what she wanted then good for her, we are not her and we are not here to judge. I’m just a firm believer that one should age naturally, it looks better.
