Does Kat Von D’s Body Art Include Plastic Surgery?
26-year old tattoo artist Kat Von D clearly has no fear of needles, as much of her body is covered in artwork. But does the star of reality TV show “LA Ink” also have work done below the skin?
An early picture of Kat reveals not only a lot less make-up and fewer tattoos, but a wider nose as well. Since that picture was taken, Kat has lost weight, but her nose looks slimmer as well and it is unlikely that she lost weight in her nose. Her nose looks like a much slimmer shape, along the bridge and especially at the tip. The tip is longer and not nearly as wide. But it looks very natural and is a good match for the shape of Kat’s face. All in all, her nose job was very well done.
Below, the neck, between tattoos, it looks like Kat may have had a breast augmentation as well. Although her breasts are not large, they are very round. Also, in some pictures, one looks higher than the other, which could be a result of breast implants. However, as Kat’s weight fluctuates, so does the size of her breasts, which could be a sign that they are natural; although weight gain and loss can alter the appearance of implants as well.
Kat’s young, so she has no wrinkles yet, but wearing heavy make up can wreak havoc on the skin, so in the future Kat may need laser treatments to keep her tattoos looking smooth and visible.
Kat looks pretty hot, if you’re into the all-tattoos-rock-chick look. We wonder if this needle-friendly gal may be up for more plastic surgery like lip injections and Botox in the future.

OH dear lord, that is NOT good plastic surgery! Her nose is too small and it looks strange with her chin. Who did her surgery?? Not that she was incredibly a natural beauty to begin with but at least she looked like a human.

Kat isn’t hush hush about cosmetic surgery (or anything else for that matter). She went to her pre-boob job doctor appointment on her show.

The facial change looks due to ageing, weight loss and make-up. I think she should get bigger boobs.

If any of you actually watched her show, you would have seen that she did not indeed get a boob job, she went to a surgeon to DISCUSS it, but decided against it and said she likes her body the way it is, sans surgery. The photo on the right is older than the one on the left. The one on the right was from when she was married, and a little thicker, and the one of the left is more recent.

I don’t know what you people are talking about! If Kat had work done her nose looks feminine, in proportion to her facial features and lovely! She has always had wide cheeks/high cheekbones even in her younger pics; it’s her ancestry, I believe she’s German or Mexican; very natural high cheekbones. All of my guy friends think she’s gorgeous.

K first, the nose and ears continue to get longer as you age and she was more than likely only 15/16 in that pic so duh her nose would be longer now. On top of that you do lose weight in your nose when you lose weight. It can have fatty deposits just like anywhere else. Second, in the pic where it looks like one breast is higher than the other, her shoulder is also up higher, making her stance off center and any girl who has ever worn a pushup bra can tell you that when you move the girls move too, because the bra goes wherever the shoulder goes. Besides why the hell does it matter if she has had work done? It is her body and her right to do with it as she sees fit.

Kat Von D, if I am correct, had a lump of breast cancer taken out of her when she first started Miami Ink. I do remember the episode very clearly, although it was last year sometime I believe. She could’ve had breast implants done by then, but I think she’s all natural, and she’s a good role model that way. She’s a good role model, period.

I am studying to be a surgeon. I’m not sure if she has had a rhinoplasty but she has definitely NOT had breast augmentation. Even though some surgeons are very good at their jobs, but there are several differences in real and fake boobs. Fake boobs fill out at the top without a push up bra, and because of gravity real breasts are not. Also. Being a girl… People guess my boobs are a B with my clothing on, and think I wear a double D (in reality I wear a D) with my shirt off. It’s all a visual representation, and our minds play tricks, and depending on how fabric is draped we might visualize things differently.
