Grammy Awards Plastic Surgery Wrap-Up
The Only Coverage On The Grammy’s From A Plastic Surgery Eye
Music and plastic surgery were out in full force at the Grammy Awards last night, with many of the nominees and winners sporting the best and worse in plastic surgery. Our spies had to work a little hard to spot some of the newly enhanced folks, but some were easily tagged. Read this interview which dissects the nominees and winners and party-goers in the slew of pre-Grammy parties this weekend.
Dixie Chicks: The big winners of the night were the Dixie Chicks, who swept the awards and got their sweet revenge on the Bush supporters. We thought we would rise to the occasion and rekindle the story that surfaced less than two years ago about how Natalie Maines and Emily Robison were both spotted leaving plastic surgeon Harry Glassman’s
Christina Aguilera: This former singer of the moment has outlived her teen idol, sometimes-trashy look and has had a makeover that catapulted her to true diva status. Aguilera is rumored to have had all kinds of procedures, including a breast augmentation that boosted her from A cups to C cups. Aguilera’s nose appears worked on and she has also been spotted with fuller lips in some pictures, which suggest she had lip injections. Being that she regularly wears fake contact lenses and hair extensions of all sorts, plastic surgery is not a far stretch for the imagination. Our buddy plastic surgeon Anthony Youn chimed in about Aguilera, observing that “She has successfully made the transition from teen pop star to adult music superstar. Her style is timeless, and she has become a classic
Beyonce Knowles: The winner of the Best Contemporary R&B album Beyonce is rumored to have had a breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty. These photos taken in 2002 and 2005 show a clear increase in the bust, to the probable delight and approval of Jay-Z. “She appears to have had a possible breast augmentation, which successfully enhances her otherwise naturally curvy physique. Her skin is radiant and perfect, a likely combination of medical grade skin treatments and blessed genes,” says Dr. Youn about Beyonce’s appearance at the Grammy’s.
Fergie: Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, known equally for her sultry voice and for her ginormous rack, came out the winner on Grammy night and racked up (pun) an award. Besides boasting a breast augmentation, Fergie had a rhinoplasty which resulted in a thinner and more chiseled nose relative to her more bulbous old nose. The rhinoplasty was well done and favorably accentuates her features. Rumors have also been abounding about Fergie having done a brow lift. Photos provided by Cityrag.com do point to some facial work. “Her brows are also excessively arched. This is most likely the result of an endoscopic browlift (short scars, less recovery than the traditional browlift), combined with some possible Botox”, Dr. Youn remarks.
“She appears to have had a bit more plastic surgery however, which contributes to her somewhat exagerrated features (large lips, elevated brows, ample bosom). It works very well for her, however, and complements her recent list of hit songs such as “My Humps”, “
To Fergie’s credit, it is likely that she is naturally endowed with full lips much like the case of Angelina Jolie’s naturally voluminous lips. Ironically, Fergie denies having surgery saying “I haven’t had any surgery but I would maybe consider a nip and a tuck. I’ve been sun tanning forever and damaging my skin.” To shorten her little white lie, she did throw in the disclaimer, “I would be open to botox,” which we are quite certain she’s made use of repeatedly in her career.
Carrie Underwood: Best New Artist winner Carrie Underwood has not had any plastic surgery that we know of but we can envision how industry pressures may lead her to a breast augmentation and other facial work can be in the cards for this American Idol. We salute you for a gorgeous natural appearance. Dr. Youn was enamored with her look, saying “As she matures, she is looking less and less like the small town reality-show wanna be and more like the gorgeous Country/Pop superstar that she will shortly become.”
Smokey Robinson: During Smokey Robinson’s tribute to soul icon James Brown, Dr. Youn could not help but notice the facial work that Robinson had, including a likely face lift, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), and too much botox. “His face appears to have undergone quite a few plastic surgery related changes. His forehead barely moved during his performance, a possible sign of too much Botox. His eyelids also looked lifted, as well as his brow. His face appeared a bit tight as well, the possible result of a facelift and chemical peels,” says Dr. Youn. Being tat Nicole Richie is a fan of plastic surgery, we should have taken a closer look at daddy Lionel Richie, who teamed up with Robinson for a song, for any tell-tale signs of surgery. Next time.
James Blunt ’s sidekick Czech model Petra Nemcova is a stunning beauty, but we wonder if her bosom is the product of a great push up bra or breast implants. At the Grammy’s, her breasts were popping out of her dress and had the rounded and projected look that many times screams IMPLANTS. To Nemcova’s benefit of the doubt, this could be due to some boob-tape and an effective push up bra so we will keep this rumor pending. Just a thought we’re putting out there…stay tuned.
Paris Hilton: While not a nominee (thank heavens), Paris did hit a couple of Grammy parties including the Warner Music Group Party. As previously reported, talentless singer Paris Hilton had a rhinoplasty. We have to say that this change is for the better and Paris is looking quite chic. As far as we know, Paris Hilton’s eye lift is still on hold, as the left eye is still droopier than her right eye.

ok plastic surgery has become so common these days that the public is very educated and can tell natural from “done” come on, don’t underestimate your fans’ intelligence. You have the money to do it, so admit it…….. it’s a tax write off and you have to remain competitive as you age and new young talent arrive.

I found this page after googling about Lionel Richie and plastic surgery. I don’t see anything on this page about him though. I can’t believe he’s been making hits since the 70’s and still looks so good.

I really hope that Paris never changes the lazy eye. It’s sexy.
