Real Housewife Lynne Curtain Reveals Her New Plastic Surgery Face

Posted on November 24th, 2009 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Carrie Zender

Despite persistent rumors of financial woes, Real Housewife of Orange County Lynne Curtin has invested in a facelift.

Although Lynne has never openly admitted her age, she is likely in her early 50s, about the right age for a first facelift, which is not her first plastic surgery procedure. In the past, Lynne has had a breast augmentation, which is practically a requirement for being a cast member of The Real Housewives franchise, as well as some ineffective Botox injections (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lynne Curtin’s plastic surgery).

Spotty as her Botox was, her facelift was successful, taking years off and giving her a refreshed, yet natural appearance.

Manhattan Plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Lynne Curtin revealed her facelift results in the latest Star Magazine.  She looks nice.  Even though the results look minimal, she does look refreshed.”

To maintain her results, Lynne may want to consider using fillers like Restylane or Juvederm, or the newcomer to the filler marketplace, Dysport.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery, says, “Lynne Curtain’s surgeon did a nice job on her face lift. Her face is still showing lines due to aging and possible sun damage.  She may benefit from fillers, but I do not think she would benefit from any additional facial work at this time. It may cause her to appear overdone, and sometimes less can be more.”

Lynne’s facelift has helped reduce her leather-y look from sun damage, without pulling her face back too tightly and requiring revision surgery.

Plastic surgeon Dr Richard Ellenbogen says, “Lynne Curtin looks much improved…her doctor knows patients want to look better; not different. He succeeded. I am very careful in my facelift practice not to make patients look like “mutants,” a term coined by a dear friend of mine to describe the Nicole Kidman, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Jenner-types. I actually specialize in revisional plastic surgery; I see monster-like mutant results on everyday people you won’t believe. I shouldn’t have to do much of the surgery I do to fix botched jobs.”

Make Me Heal enjoys Lynne’s role as the Housewives’ resident ditz and looks forward to the trouble her teenage daughters get into this season.
