Justin Jedlica, better known as the Human Ken Doll, is coming out of his box to tell Oprah his thoughts and feelings about plastic surgery.
33-year old Justin Jedlica is what can best be described as a plastic surgery enthusiast. Despite his young age, Justin has undergone anywhere from 90 to 145 plastic surgery procedures in his quest to look like Barbie doll’s famous boyfriend, Ken.
Justin has said that he first had a nose job at 18, then went on to have five rhinoplasties, a cranial brow bone shape and cheek, lip, chin and buttocks augmentation, in addition to pec implants and silicone biceps. He has also had various augmentations done to his chin, cheeks, lips and buttocks.
In an exclusive sneak peek from this Sunday’s episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now? On the E! News website, Justin dishes on how he deals with the criticism he gets on a regular basis. “I think I have a very clear picture of what I look like. I’m not unhappy with the way that I look but if I choose to express my creativity through my plastic surgery, it’s no different than someone in fashion who deals with trends,” the 33-year-old argues. “I mean, standards of beauty change. Ideals of beauty change. I don’t understand why people think you have to be committed to the human form and that you shouldn’t be able to retain control to change it.”
In the course of the interview, Justin also showcases his bicep implant, which he designed himself. Thanks to his predilection for plastic surgery, Justin has become an implant designer, creating not only his own implants, but implants for other plastic surgery patients as well.
Justin also appeared on the premiere of Botched! In which Real Housewives stars Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif take on the results of previous plastic surgery procedures that have gone wrong and correct them. To keep things interesting, the doctors also deal with patients that are obsessed with plastic surgery. Justin clearly falls into the latter category.
In the debut episode, Justin appeared, asking the doctors for quad, calf and lat implants in his legs, which he has designed himself. According to Justin, although he has designed the implants, he has had trouble finding doctors that are willing to work with him. During the interview portion of the show, Dr. Dubrow says that a procedure of this sort could have serious complications and end up being life threatening.
Given that Justin has had so many plastic surgery procedures, he feels himself to be just as knowledgeable as those with medical licenses and refers to plastic surgeons as “glorified tailors.”
Justin admits, “It took me a long time to realize that different people have different ideals of beauty.”
In fact, Justin is so into plastic surgery and his personal beliefs, that his comments visibly stun even the expert plastic surgeons that have seen many strange things in their long careers.none
