Marisa Tomei’s Plastic Surgery
Marisa Tomei’s latest film has the petite actress playing a stripper in The Wrestler when it opens this week. After finding leaked stills from the film, Make Me Heal wondered if the 44 year old had plastic surgery to help maintain her good looks?
Maria looks so good lately that many feel she must have had copious amounts of plastic surgery. But Make Me Heal has found no evidence that Marisa uses anything other than an extensive skincare regimen and may also indulge in non-surgical facial procedures like Thermage or laser treatments like Fraxel or ActiveFx.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden says, “Marisa Tomei is naturally attractive, with good skin and bone structure. She’s Italian so her skin has a nice olive tone to it. People with healthy skin and a thick dermis (the layer of the skin with collagen in it that helps it maintain elasticity) tend not to display signs of premature aging such as fine wrinkles. It probably also helps that she has led a clean lifestyle and avoids smoking, excessive sun exposure, etc.”
Dr. Walden goes on to say, “I can’t tell if she has had any other work done to her face except possibly a nice, conservative rhinoplasty in the past which served to refine the tip and narrow the base of the nose. It doesn’t appear she has had any Botox in the photos I am looking at since she is smiling and has crow’s feet.”
Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery expert Dr. Paul Nassif also doesn’t spot any obvious signs of plastic surgery on Marisa’s well-kept face.
Many have also noticed that in addition to keeping her skin firm and relatively wrinkle free, except for some minor bags and crow’s feet around the eyes, Marisa’s breasts have also remained quite perky for someone in late middle age.
But Marisa has never had large breasts and they are not large now, so it is unlikely that they would sag because of size. Marisa also doesn’t have children, so her body has not gone through the changes of motherhood that also cause sagging breasts.
The small size of her breasts seems to indicate that her breasts are natural, no matter how perky they are.
Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia notes, “Back then it looks like Marissa was without implants. [Now] I don’t see much in the way of breast implants here. She still looks pretty flat.”
Leading him to the same conclusion as Make Me Heal and plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden, who says, “Marisa Tomei looks great for 44 years old, and she is showing that off in her upcoming movie apparently. But, based upon the photos, this is the appearance of non-augmented breasts.”
It seems that Marisa’s breasts are not large and augmented, but small and perfect, like her amazing genes that have helped her age so well.
