eMatrix System Aims To Rejuvenate Without Downtime of Plastic Surgery Procedures
September 13, 2010 in Facial Plastic Surgery,Procedures & Breakthroughs by Chelsea Mize | 1 Comment
Nobody wants wrinkles or sagging skin. And with advances in plastic surgery techniques like the eMatrix Radio Frequency (RF) system, anti-aging treatments are improving for men and women who want to look younger without looking unnatural.
What is eMatrix?
The eMatrix system is an RF technology for skin resurfacing that goes beyond laser and light treatments to penetrate the dermis without damaging the epidermis. By delivering bipolar RF energy, eMatrix generates a deep heating response that mimics injury and elicits a healing response that can correct wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scars, and other irregularities.
eMatrix works using Sublative Rejuvenation, which maximizes collagen production while maintaining the integrity of the outer layer of skin. In this way, eMatrix uniquely preserves the dermis while other RF treatments can totally ablate the surface tissue.
Why eMatrix?
Unlike other skin rejuvenation treatments that are considered aggressive, eMatrix doesn’t cause surface damage. Sublative rejuvenation has relatively little downtime and the risk of skin discoloration is minimal.
eMatrix is also less painful than comparable RF systems. The actual procedure is very tolerable for the patient. During the treatment, the patient experiences a warm, prickling sensation, and post-treatment the patient will feel as if they have a sunburn. Topical ointments can reduce any discomfort associated with eMatrix.
How does eMatrix work?
eMatrix is a multi-treatment system that varies based on personal needs and results. Typically, patients receive three treatments four to six weeks apart. Results appear as early as the first treatment and continue to improve for a year afterward. Since RF stimulates collagen production, results can be long-lasting.
In order to maintain optimal appearance, it is recommended that patients receive eMatrix upkeep after one year.
The actual time required for the procedure ranges from 10-20 minutes, and patients can resume their normal activities quickly thereafter. In addition, eMatrix’s patented ergonomic applicator and deep penetrating RF technology makes it safe for all skin types.
Side Effects
There are no documented side effects of Sublative Rejuvenation besides the slight sunburnt sensation immediately after the procedure. People with pre-existing conditions like eczema may not be able to have eMatrix.
Is eMatrix right for you?
As previously mentioned, some skin conditions may preclude patients from receiving eMatrix treatment.
eMatrix is ideal for patients wishing to correct mild or moderate wrinkles or discoloration. Sublative Rejuvenation creates smoother, more elastic skin for a younger looking you without the downtime of a traditional facelift.

How can anyone give a complete comment before going to the website first???? What I can say is that a sunburn is sometimes a very bad incident. One that’s severe can involve severe pain that’s almost intractable (until acute phase is healed). At least that’s what happened with my worse facial sunburns.
