  • Jenna Jameson has been tweaking her looks with plastic surgery for several years now and the results aren’t doing her any favors. Rather than looking like a hot porn star, Jenna is beginning to look like an overdone Hollywood plastic surgery addict.

38-year old Jenna Jameson has been open about her breast implants and vaginoplasty as well as undergoing breast augmentation and removal (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jenna Jameson’s plastic surgery), but she has never spoken out about having any work done on her face.

Whether or not she admits it, Jenna looks like she has had a few too many Botox injections and lip fillers. Her lips are beginning to be the most prominent feature on her face, while her smooth skin is so unusually tight-looking that you almost can’t see her eyes.

On his blog, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn writes, “After hooking up with MMA legend Tito Ortiz, she appears to have gone overboard with the plastic surgery.  Probably the worst change is the blowing up of her lips.  They look like two Kielbasa.  Her face appears to have changed shape as well, possibly from placement of cheek implants combined with overdone Botox injections.  She also appears to have undergone removal or down-sizing of her breast implants.  Although this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, her breasts look quite uneven.  This could be due to excessive scar tissue or a capsular contracture.”

“The last few years haven’t been kind to Jenna’s appearance.   I’ve never treated or met her, but if I did, I’d recommend that she stop any plastic surgery and let it wear off.”

Makemeheal.com hopes that Jenna takes Dr. Youn’s advice and lays off the injectables for a while at least.

Since famously going under the knife for an astounding 10 plastic surgery procedures all at once, Heidi Montag has had a love/hate relationship with her new looks. Now it seems that she is just glad that nothing went wrong.

25-year old Heidi Montag went under the knife for plastic surgery, altering everything from her nose to her breasts and everything in between. She has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part, but every now and then she recounts her plastic surgery to the tabloids (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery).

She’s glad that nothing went wrong with her procedures, but that doesn’t mean she’s going back for more any time soon.

“It was a lot more than I could have expected,” she admitted. “I really hate talking about it now because it was so long ago. I was a much different person back then to who I am now. I didn’t realize how much of The Hills — and going through that — would define who I am.”
“It could have been really disastrous.”

“I lived and I learned, and I wouldn’t really recommend it for other people. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be going through it — physically, mentally, emotionally, recovering,” she said of having work done. “But, I’m just glad it’s done and that everything healed so well.”
Heidi has taken a philosophical look at her procedures since her reality show ended:

“I’m really looking forward to the next phase in my life,” explained Montag, who married Spencer Pratt, 28, in November 2008. “I know I’ll never be able to get away from a lot of [my past], but I won’t give up trying to prove I’m more than just that.”

Apparently Heidi has some projects in the works and plastic surgery isn’t among them.

There’s no denying that big boobs are a big thing. And when women aren’t naturally endowed, it’s only natural that they seek surgical assistance. Sometimes, a boob job is the only way for women to achieve the bosom they desire. The bosom that will make them feel more desired. So it’s no surprise that breast augmentation is one of the most popular plastic surgeries performed anywhere.

Even as common as it has become, the typical ‘boob job’ still isn’t totally perfect. There are issues with implants, and obviously the surgical aspect comes with associated risks, including some seriously unattractive scarring. But with a new endoscopic surgical technique, the scarring factor becomes less of a problem for women who want to go big.

What in the world does ‘endoscopic’ mean?

    Endoscopic Breast Implant Placement

The word endoscopic refers to surgery performed using an endoscope. That doesn’t clear it up for you? An endoscope is a tubular probe that is inserted under the skin through a tiny incision in the area to be treated. The probe is equipped with a very bright light and a small camera to assist in whatever operation is being performed. The camera transmits images to a viewing screen so that the surgeon can see what he or she is doing.

Endoscopic procedures are not really innovative in the medical world. In fact, endoscopic surgery has been practiced for decades, and is only relatively new in the plastic surgery world, in operations like breast augmentations.

So, what have you learned? An endoscopic breast augmentation is a breast augmentation that uses an endoscope. Which can be helpful if you’re considering a boob job because endoscopic surgery means smaller incisions, which means smaller scars.

Why else should I go endoscopic for my breast augmentation?

Nobody goes into surgery hoping to come out permanently scarred, so obviously the tiny incisions used in endoscopic procedures are a benefit. But there are other advantages as well. Surgeons are able to use the same basic techniques in an endoscopic breast augmentation as in a normal breast augmentation, but an endoscope allows the surgeon to position implants with greater ease and precision. Which means better results for your boobs.

Also, the scars that do result from an endoscopic boob job are more likely to be hidden because the size of the incisions (less than an inch long) allows the surgeon to manipulate where scarring will appear. And because this technique involves less cutting, side effects and downtime may be less significant than in typical augmentation surgeries.

What can I expect from an endoscopic surgery?

If you decide to have an endoscopic breast augmentation, you will be anesthetized and your plastic surgeon will make a small incision in your underarm area. He or she will then insert the endoscope and use it as a guide for placing your implants. One advantage of this is that plastic surgeons can fix capsular contraction, or the formation of surrounding scar tissue causing implants to feel firm. Endoscopes can also be used to evaluate existing implants, either for correction or maintenance.

Is endoscopic breast augmentation right for me?

Endoscopic breast augmentation does have many advantages, but it is still relatively new technique for plastic surgery. Also, the procedure may not be right for everyone. Patients with large amounts of saggy skin around the bosom may not be eligible for endoscopic surgery, as making the tiny incisions is difficult when there are folds around the chest.
