  • Beauty queen turned actress Mary Ann Mobley still looks good, even years after the last episode of The Love Boat has sailed, a good indication that the former Miss America has had plastic surgery.

72-year old Mary Ann Mobley began her career as Miss America and expanded her role to include classic television shows like The Love Boat and Fantasy Island, among numerous others.

Since her career heyday, Mary Ann has likely had a few nips and tucks along the way, including a facelift, necklift, browlift and eyelid surgery. She likely also uses fillers such as Sculptra in her cheeks and Restylane or Radiesse in her lips and Botox to smooth out her forehead.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Mary Ann Mobley appears to have had multiple cosmetic facial surgeries including face, neck, brow and eyelid lifts.  She also most likely has used a filler such as Sculptra to augment her cheeks and Restylane or Radiesse in her lips and Botox to her forehead.”

Mary Ann has been married to Emmy-winning actor Gary Collins for many years and Makemeheal.com wishes the television couple many more, with or without plastic surgery.

Matthew McConaughey’s movie The Lincoln Lawyer hits theaters today. At a recent premier event for the film, Matthew hit the red carpet with his mother, Kay McCabe, on his arm and Makemeheal.com couldn’t help but notice how good she looked—likely the result of plastic surgery.

68-year old former teacher Kay McCabe looked like she was having the time of her life as she hiked up her skirt and flashed some leg to the embarrassment of her sons, Matthew and Rooster. While her legs are definitely impressive for a woman her age, her smooth skin that showed very few signs of aging was even more impressive.

It looks like Kay has learned a lesson from her son, Matthew’s, time in Hollywood and gone in for some anti-aging plastic surgery (See Make Me Heal’s story on Matthew McConaughey’s hair transplant).

Although Kay has probably had several procedures, including a facelift and eyelid surgery, as well as Botox and facial fillers like Radiesse, she looks very natural and not “plasticized.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “ Matthew McConaughey’s mom appears to have had a facelift, Botox, facial fillers, and possibly a blepharoplasty. Overall, any work performed was not overdone, and she looks good.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Matthew McConaughey’s mom looks great and has a rejuvenated look to her face.  She appears to most likely have had a facelift, fillers to her cheeks and Botox to her forehead.  She does not appear overdone and has a refreshed look to her face.”

Fans of Matthew’s can catch The Lincoln Lawyer, also starring William H Macy, Marisa Tomei and Ryan Phillippe when it hits theaters today.

As a new judge on the hit reality competition television show American Idol Steven Tyler didn’t seem a likely replacement for the sour-faced Simon Cowell. But the rock god may have something in common with the judge everyone loved to hate: plastic surgery.

Through his run on American Idol, Simon Cowell (See Make Me Heal’s story on Simon Cowell’s Botox) admitted to getting regular injections of Botox, as well as dental veneers and fake tans. Now rumor has it that is replacement, Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler, may be following in his footsteps.

62-year old Steven Tyler is rumored to be using dermal injectables like Perlane or Radiesse injected into his face to soften some of his deeper wrinkles, and may even have had a facelift as well.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Steven Tyler may have had a facelift performed at one point in his life. In addition, he may have had Botox and facial fillers. Overall, any work was not overdone.”

On his blog, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn says, ” Have you watched American Idol lately?  Is it me, or does Steven Tyler look like he’s had work done?  I reviewed some before-and-after photos for the National Enquirer (printed in this week’s issue) and it appears to me that his face is plumped up and filled out.  I bet he’s done more than listen to music to prepare for being an American Idol judge.  It appears to me that he’s had substantial fillers injected under his eyes, in his cheeks, and in his frown lines.  If I had to choose, I’d bet on Juvederm.  It’s a soft, long-lasting filler that would be perfect for volumizing his face.  And if it’s not overdone, then Dude Should Not Look Like A Lady.”

On the other hand, Steven’s wrinkles could look better now that he’s on camera with makeup, rather that on stage, sweating it off.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “I don’t think Steven Tyler has done anything cosmetically to his face.  He has always had big full lips.  They do not seem any larger than in the past.”

With or without plastic surgery, Steven Tyler’s appearance on American Idol doesn’t seem to be bothering fans.

Suzanne Somers is one busy lady, acting and singing and promoting her various health and wellness products. But it looks like the author and businesswoman is never too busy for some plastic surgery.

64-year old Suzanne Somers made a name for herself playing ditzy blonds, but she has proved to be anything but, promoting controversial health remedies and appearing on various talk programs. It seems that in addition to talking about medical procedures, Suzanne has also fit in some plastic surgery.

Although Suzanne has a fuller figure than she did in her bouncing youth, the Thighmaster master has an even fuller face, indicating that she has had plastic surgery. Suzanne could be undergoing any number of things to make her face unusually plump, ranging from an overload of injectables like Sculptra and Radiesse or fat grafts to a facelift to a stem cell facelift. In addition, she may have had a lip augmentation as well, as her lips don’t appear to have thinned with age, as is common.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “It is difficult to recognize Suzanne Somers after her cosmetic surgery to her face.  Her cheeks, lower face and lips are very full.  Either she is still very swollen from a recent facelift, or she has had substantial injections, most likely her own fat, to her face.  Or a combination of both.  I suspect that the fullness in her face will go down in the next few weeks and depending on how her face looks then will be revealing of what she actually did to her face.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Suzanne Somers appears to have had Botox, facial fillers, a facelift, necklift, and there is a possibility she had a lip augmentation.  She would not benefit from any additional procedures at this time.”

On his blog, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn says, ” Now, don’t get me wrong.  Back in the day, I really liked Suzanne Somers.  She could have knocked on my door anytime.  But now… what the heck happened to her face?  Her face is so puffy it looks like it’s been stung by a hive of bees. ”

“My most faithful blog readers may recall a post from just over a year ago stating that Suzanne was planning to have a stem cell facelift. If you don’t remember, you can check out the post here.  Well, it appears that she may have done just that. ”

“So what is a stem cell facelift, you ask?  It’s basically facial fat grafting using fat that is supercharged with stem cells.  A doctor harvests some fat via liposuction, removes concentrated stem cells from a portion of it, then injects the remaining fat that is ‘supercharged’ with the stem cells into areas of the face which are gaunt.  The idea is that the stem cells will cause a greater percentage of the grafted fat to survive and possibly even improve the skin quality.  Currently there are a handful of physicians advertising stem cell facelifts in the U.S. but in reality the machinery needed to remove and concentrate stem cells are not FDA approved for cosmetic use.  HOWEVER, there are people in other countries who may be using real stem cells to enhance their facelifts, so it is definitely possible that Suzanne went overseas to get this procedure done. ”

“She obviously had something done to give her a pillow face!”

Makemeheal.com hopes that Suzanne comes clean about her appearance, the way she has about her personal health issues.

Makemeheal.com has been noticing changes in country crooner’s LeAnn Rimes appearance lately, due to plastic surgery.

28-year old LeAnn Rimes was recently spotted sporting a brand new pair of breast implants, from makers Mentor or Natrelle, and it looks like she’s also had some facial procedures to go with the augmentation (See Make Me Heal’s story on LeAnn Rimes’ plastic surgery).

At the recent Grammy Awards, LeAnn was spotted cozying up to 37-year old fiancé Eddie Cibrian, said to be a fan of plastic surgery blond bombshells. Cameras captured not only LeAnn’s smile (courtesy of dental veneers), but also what look like recent facial injections, including Botox as well as fillers like Radiesse.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “LeAnn Rimes has experienced some significant weight loss and it is very apparent in her face. She has had Botox injections giving her a nice smooth forehead and most likely dermal fillers such as Radiesse to the folds in her face that have been caused by her dramatic weight loss. Her nose is very straight and she may have had a Rhinoplasty or Nose Job in the past.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “LeAnn Rimes may have had Botox and facial fillers but that is all. Her look appears natural, and she would not benefit from any additional work at this time.”

LeAnn and Eddie have had a tempestuous tabloid relationship, but you’d never know it to look at LeAnn’s recently flawless face.

Australian actress Jacki Weaver has earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her work in Animal Kingdom. Makemeheal.com wonders if the star from down under has found success with or without plastic surgery.

63-year old Jacki Weaver isn’t known much outside of her native Australia. But the success of Animal Kingdom and her Oscar nom is sure to change that.  Although Jacki looks natural, she does have a very prominent brow, which could be the result of a browlift or Botox. Her eyebrows appear to be unevenly elevated and a little bit of Botox in the lower brow could help event them out.

Sarasota, Florida Plastic Surgeon J. David Holcomb, MD has never treated Jacki Weaver as a patient but tells Makemeheal.com, “She does have asymmetry of the brows with an accentuated arch on the right side that could be softened with a Botox treatment.”

In addition to a strong browline, Jacki may have undergone a facelift and necklift and may use fillers like Radiesse in her cheeks.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California, “Jacki Weaver appears to have had a browlift, which was performed a bit too aggressively.  She also appears to have had Botox, facial fillers, a facelift, and there is a possibility she had a necklift performed as well. ”

To help improve her appearance before the upcoming Oscar red carpet, Jacki could consider getting fillers injected into the parentheses around the mouth to help get rid of the pronounced wrinkles there.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Jacki Waever does not appear to use Botox as shown by the visible forehead wrinkles; however her eye brows are very arched.  She may have had a brow lift, or they just appear ached from her makeup.  She would benefit and look years younger from Botox to her forehead and filers to the nasolabila folds (laugh lines).”

Jacki’s nomination for the crime drama has gone largely unnoticed as she hasn’t been promoting herself to the same extent as her fellow nominees.

The contenders for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar haven’t had plastic surgery, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t benefit from a few nips and tucks

    Christian Bale (The Fighter)

37-year old Christian Bale has gained quite a reputation for getting very into the roles he plays, whether he’s starring in a comic-book based epic or a drama and he’s done it all without plastic surgery. However, he may want to consider a nose job in the future, although it is possible that he has already had one.

Sarasota, Florida Plastic Surgeon J. David Holcomb, MD has never treated Christian Bale as a patient but told Makemeheal.com, “As we age the skin over the nose sometimes thins a bit such that the underlying cartilage structures become increasingly prominent.  So while he may not be inclined now rhinoplasty might be a consideration in the future…”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Christian Bale may have had a nose job or Rhinoplasty cosmetic surgery.  The tip of his nose has a very defined point.  He also appears to treat his forehead with Botox giving him a very smooth look to his face.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Christian Bale does not appear to have had any surgical procedures performed to his face. He has a natural look, and would not benefit from any surgical or non-surgical procedures.”

    John Hawkes (Winter’s Bone)

52-year old John Hawkes isn’t a household name, but his outstanding performances has made him a favorite of film critics and has earned him a Supporting Actor nomination for his role in Winter’s Bone. John looks remarkably well preserved for his age, but if he wanted to look even better, he could consider having an eyelid lift as well as some fillers like Juvederm or Restylane injected into the parentheses around his mouth.

Dr. Nassif says, “John Hawkes does not appear to have had any procedures performed to his face.  There is a possibility he had Botox at one point, but that is all. His look is natural, and any future work he chooses to have performed is a personal decision.”

Dr. Salzhauer says, “It does not appear that John Hawkes has had any cosmetic enhancements to his appearance.  He may consider tightening up the skin around his eyes and some dermal fillers to the nasolabial folds, or laugh lines, to freshen up his look.”

    Jeremy Renner (The Town)

40-year old Jeremy Renner is gearing up for his second Oscar nomination for his work in The Town. While Jeremy has become a film favorite, it appears his handsome looks are all natural and not the result of plastic surgery over the years. If Jeremy was interested in improving his appearance for the red carpet, he could use a little Juvederm or Restylane to augment his upper lip, which is a little thin.

Dr. Nassif says, “Jeremy Renner does not appear to have had any work performed to his face, and would not benefit from any procedures at this time.”

Dr. Salzhauer says, “It does not appear that Jeremy Renner has done any cosmetic enhancements to his face.  His lips are very thin and he may want to add a tiny bit of dermal filler to them, especially his upper lip.

Mark Ruffalo (The Kids are All Right)

43-year old Mark Ruffalo is up for his first Oscar nomination thanks to his role as a sperm donor in The Kids are All Right. The rom-com favorite may be using a hit of Botox and fillers like Restylane and Juvederm to stay youthful, but he may want to consider using just a touch more around the eyes or having some eyelid surgery to help lift the lids and open up his peepers.

Dr. Nassif says, ” Mark Ruffalo may have had Botox and facial fillers. It is not evident he had any additional work performed to his face.”

Dr. Salzhauer says, “It does not appear that Mark Ruffalo has done any cosmetic enhancements to his face.  He may want to tighten up the skin around his eyes to give him a refreshed and more youthful look, or a bit of Botox can lift his eyebrows and give him some improvement.”

    Geoffrey Rush (The King’s Speech)

59-year old Geoffrey Rush has already won an Oscar for his role in Shine, but the multi-nominated actor has again been chosen by the Academy for his excellent work in The King’s Speech. Geoffrey Rush looks a little older than some of his peers and some judicious plastic surgery could help him freshen up and look a little younger. A facelift and necklift could take care of the deeper wrinkles around his face, while eyelid surgery could eliminate his sagging eyelids. By finishing up with Botox and fillers like Sculptra or Radiesse, he could look considerably younger. Although facelift and necklift take a while to heal, there is still time for Geoffrey to get at least an eyelid lift and fillers before the big night.

Dr. Nassif says, “Geoffrey Rush does not appear to have had any plastic surgery performed to his face. He may benefit from a facelft, a necklift, Botox, facial fillers, and a blepharoplasty. These procedures may enhance his look, and give him a fresher and more youthful appearance.”

Dr. Salzhauer says, “It does not appear that Geoffrey Rush has done any cosmetic enhancements to his face.  He may want to tighten up the skin around his eyes to give him a refreshed and more youthful look if he had at least a week to heal.  Botox to his upper face and dermal fillers to fill in some of the lines could make a significant improvement to smooth out his face and make him look years younger.”

Makemeheal.com looks forward to seeing how the nominees for Best Supporting Actor turn out at the upcoming Oscar ceremony.

Natalie Portman has a mixed history when it comes to great acting (i.e. Star Wars prequels), but her turn in Black Swan has earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination, the second in her career. The newly pregnant actress is rumored to have a nose job in the past and claims to be open to plastic surgery in the future.

29-year Natalie Portman surprised fans and film-goers when she announced her engagement and pregnancy. The proud Harvard alum has never admitted to having plastic surgery, but many suspect that she may have had a nose job in the past.

Although she is currently unable to go under knife or needle, as the actress ages, she may consider various anti-aging remedies in the future, including Botox, fillers like Radiesse and fat grafting. To start with, she may get chemical peels or laser rejuvenation treatments.

Sarasota, Florida Plastic Surgeon  J. David Holcomb, MD has never treated any Natalie Portman, but tells Makemeheal.com, “Looks great now.  Inevitably in the future she may first consider quick fixes such as Botox or filler injections or even fat grafting.  If she does develop troublesome wrinkles skin rejuvenation with a laser may not be out of the question.  She has nice facial features and bone structure and is relatively thin so she will likely not need to consider facelift procedures any time soon.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Natalie Portman does appear to have had a nose job.  The tip of her nose appears lifted and more defined. She is young and pregnant and should not have any cosmetic procedures at this time.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Natalie Portman does not appear to have had any work performed to her face. She still has a very young look, and would not benefit from facial plastic surgery at this point in her life.”

Natalie will likely bring a pregnancy glow to the red carpet, rather than plastic surgery.

This year’s Oscars marks the fourth time actress Annette Bening has been nominated for an Academy Award, this time for Best Actress in the hit film The Kids are All Right. But what fans are wondering is, will Annette be bringing plastic surgery to the top Hollywood event?

52-year old Annette Bening is at the age when many actresses have had a first facelift or at least a little Botox. But Makemeheal.com suspects that Annette hasn’t had any plastic surgery yet—or is waiting to reveal a freshened up look at the big show.

Sarasota, Florida Plastic Surgeon J. David Holcomb, MD has never treated Annette Bening as a patient, but told Make Me Heal, “[Annette Bening] does not appear to have had any intervention at this point.”

On the other hand, Annette does look good for her age, so she very well could have had a careful amount of plastic surgery, including a facelift and Botox as well as a few fillers like Restylane and Juvederm to maintain her high cheeks.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Annette Bening may have had a facelift, Botox, and facial fillers. Overall, any work performed was conservative and she still looks good.”

If Annette decides she want to look a little younger and brighter, she may want to consider having a little Botox around her eyes, to help open them up by lifting the brows. Some of her deeper wrinkles could be smoothed by using fillers like Restylane or Radiesse.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Annette Bening does not appear to have had any cosmetic work done.  She could benefit from and look years younger with Botox to her upper face as well as dermal fillers to smooth out her skin.  She can achieve a slight brow lift affect from strategic Botox injections and would freshen up the look around her eyes.”

Annette has been a Hollywood favorite for many years and Make Me Heal wishes her the best of luck at this year’s Oscars.

I’m pretty much broke. Yeah, it’s kind of because of the economy, and it’s kind of because I’m a writer and we’re traditionally some of the brokest people in the world. I recently had someone tell me that I could make more money panhandling. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m not ruling it out either. At the moment, I prefer writing about plastic surgery to ranting on a corner about the apocalypse. So I’m doing okay. But whenever I whine to my older friends about the sad state of my financial affairs, I almost always get some form of the retort, “At least you’re young.”

Why does being young matter? I’m still poor. Barely making rent doesn’t get you any less evicted when you’re young. Collecting free ketchup packets from fast food places isn’t any less sad when you’re young. In fact, it might be even sadder… but apparently, the one thing that seems to be different when you’re young is your ability to get hired. Getting a job, it seems, is a lot easier when you have a youthful, energetic appearance – and that’s why a number of ‘older’ job seekers are getting a leg up from plastic surgery or other non-surgical procedures like BOTOX.

A Nice Blazer Just Isn’t Cutting It Anymore

These days, the mantra ‘Dress for success’ doesn’t quite cover all the bases. Sure, having a classy wardrobe is important for interviewability, but looking professional has started to extend beyond wearing a well-tailored suit. It’s not like this is an entirely new concept. People in the entertainment industry have been getting a little nip/tuck to help their careers for ages (although you’d never know by looking at them). And decades ago, millions of Americans decided to ‘hire’ Kennedy as President instead of Nixon at least partially because of Nixon’s old, tired appearance on the televised debates. Maybe if Nixon had gotten a brow lift, we could have gotten Watergate out of the way sooner.

Point is, nobody has ever wanted to employ an emaciated, exhausted, sweaty, or jowly dude (or chick) to represent their company. But in an economy where jobs are becoming scarcer and scarcer, appearance has started to matter even more. The unemployed are looking for any edge they can get in a competitive job market, and sometimes that edge is having an energetic, positive appearance.

Dr. Daniel Yamini, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Los Angeles, suggests that, “These days you can never be too young or refreshed looking for a job. A majority of my patients have been affected in some way by the recent economy. Many are looking for, or in between, jobs and it’s very competitive. There is a huge…emphasis these days, particularly for women, in the employment market to look your best.” We try to tell ourselves that looks aren’t everything, and certainly a little plastic surgery won’t help you get that rocket scientist job you’ve always wanted if you didn’t graduate high school. But the reality is that people can’t help but judge each other by appearance. As Dr. Richard Fleming, a specialist in hair replacement and facial cosmetic surgery at the Beverly Hills Institute, asks, “Who wants to hire a person who looks tired or hungover?” The answer: pretty much no one. The fact that you actually get nine hours of sleep a night and have been a teetotaler since the 80s doesn’t matter at all. Dr. Fleming points out that the fatigued appearance that can come with age “stimulates certain parameters in our mindset” so we can’t help but associate someone’s drooping eyelids with the assumption that they lack energy and drive.

How Can I Look Young Again?

So there’s no fountain of youth. What can you do to improve your physical appearance, and consequently your chances at getting hired? Dr. Yamini says, “My patients want to look less tired, more refreshed, energized, and look like they have been taking care of their bodies. But above all they want to look natural.  This is a fine balance to rejuvenate someone without changing their appearance or making them look ‘done’ or too desperately trying to look younger than they are.” That’s right, the Joan Rivers look is not what employers want unless they want to hire Joan Rivers. So before you go for an extreme facelift, consider your options.

What’s best for you? Well, it depends on what you need to feel good about your appearance. Dr. Fleming suggests that feeling like you look great actually makes you perform better in interviews and on the job. Confidence is an important part of seeming like an eligible candidate for any position, and liking what we see in the mirror inspires confidence. And if you’re getting older, that confidence might be waning. But, fortunately, plastic surgery has improved and there are less drastic, more natural options available.  As Dr. Fleming says, “It depends on what [you] need. [For] some people maybe it’s something simple – BOTOX. Others, something more invasive, like eyelid surgery. Eyes are the first to age, and that results in the tired look.” Dr. Yamini observes that, “The biggest spike in services [at my practice] has been in BOTOX and other non-surgical injectables that can erase the signs of stress, exhaustion, lack of sleep, etc.  When done properly, BOTOX can make you look less tired and stressed, yet still natural.  Fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane can smooth out features that make you look older, tired, or sad and make you appear younger, refreshed, and softer.”

Change Your Face, Get a Job?

Well, not necessarily. There just aren’t that many jobs out there right now, and getting your eyes done won’t change that fact. I mean, like I said, I’m broke and my eyelids are still pretty perky. So don’t rush into anything that costs a lot of money because you think it’s an automatic solution for unemployment. But do try to look your best and have confidence in your appearance. People will notice, and if you stand out you’ve got better chances.

And if you’re deciding between a career as a writer or a career as a plastic surgeon, you might want to go with the latter. Just saying.

Jenna Bentley may not be one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, but the Playboy Playmate has managed to make a name for herself, thanks to very big breast implants in very tiny bikini tops.

Somewhere around the age of 22, Jenna Bentley is rapidly becoming a favorite swimwear and lingerie model on many gossip sites, thanks to her love of nearly falling out (and sometimes actually falling out) of bathing suits far too small for her very large breast implants.

The small town Montana native may be nearly 6 feet tall, but her thin frame makes her breast augmentation look very “done.” In addition to her obvious breast augmentation, Jenna may also have had a nose job to make her nose perfectly small and symmetrical no matter what the camera angle and she likely uses lip injections with fillers like Restylane or Radiesse to keep her perfect pout.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Jenna Bentley has very large breast implants.  Since 800cc breast implants is the largest size available, I am guessing that is what she has.  I also believe she has augmented her lips with dermal fillers such as Restylane or Radiesse as well as had a Nose Job/ Rhinoplasty.”

Makemeheal.com wishes Jenna the best of luck with her modeling career and hopes it doesn’t involve too many more plastic surgery procedures.

Cher is touring the world, promoting her new film Burlesque. At a London premiere of the film, Cher revealed more than just her amazing body; she also revealed a piece of surgical tape behind her ear.

64-year old Cher showed up at a premier with flaming orange wig and sexy lace dress. She also inadvertently gave camera lenses a look at a piece of surgical tape.

Cher is a known fan of plastic surgery, openly admitting to undergoing plastic surgery, which most likely includes nose job, breast augmentation, fat grafts or fillers like Sculptra and Radiesse, a facelift or two as well as eyelid surgery and possibly a tummy tuck and liposuction.

Although Cher has had a facelift or two in her time, celebrities often use the surgical tape as a temporary fix for pulling back the sands of time. It could be that Cher is planning another plastic surgery procedure in the future, and that the surgical tape is an in-between fix for the globetrotter.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Richard Fleming commented that picture showing tape on Cher’s face certainly could be covering a small wound.  Dr. Fleming feels that it is probably a beauty technique that has been used for over 70 years, where discretely placed tape actually enhances the neck and jawline.  This would certainly be in keeping with a very busy celebrity who does not have time in their schedule to have plastic surgery.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Cher definitely likes the “tight” look to her skin.  She could opt for another facelift, but for 64 she is looking fabulous and I don’t think it’s necessary at this time. Maybe wait a few more years and keep some of that surgical tape handy.”

Cher’s beauty malfunction not withstanding, she looks great for her age and audiences seem to be enthralled with her appearance in Burlesque.
