Is Tatum O’Neal Also A Plastic Surgery Addict?
Former child star Tatum O’Neal is all grown-up, but she somehow manages to look younger than her age. Make Me Heal explores whether the former Dancing With the Stars contestant, who is also a recovering cocaine addict, is also addicted to plastic surgery.
44-year old actress Tatum O’Neal made tabloid covers when she was arrested for buying cocaine. Tatum has a history of drug abuse and a more recent history of plastic surgery, like fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jamie Lee Curtis Blames Plastic Surgery for Drug Addiction).
In the past, middle-aged Tatum was beginning to show signs of aging. But now she has almost no crow’s feet around her eyes, even when she smiles, and absolutely no hint of horizontal lines on her forehead or glabellar lines (vertical 11 lines) between her brows. She has also nearly eradicated the smile lines from her nose to her mouth, called nasolabial folds.
To get her taut, wrinkle-complexion complexion, one might guess that she had a lower facelift or mini-facelift, but that would be a drastic procedure for someone only in her early 40s. More likely, she has been getting dermal injections and fillers. Her forehead hasn’t ever wrinkled, so she likely uses Botox to relax those muscles and lines. Botox would also explain her very arched eyebrows, or “Botox Brow”. Around her mouth, she probably uses a product like Radiesse to fill out the areas that should have crevices.
To keep her skin so clear and free of fine lines and sun damage, Tatum has probably used a facial laser treatment like Fraxel or Active Fx.
Tatum wasn’t a success when she danced on Dancing WIth The Stars, but she did win an Oscar for acting. Tatum O’Neil does not need to have any dramatic surgery to stay youthful at this time, as she has aged well. She should stick to what she does best, acting, and stay away from drugs and plastic surgery.

I don’t see the difference myself - except lighting.
Looking closely she seems to have all the same lines and folds in the 2008 pic as the 2003 one.
What’s different is: in the earlier pic her makeup is all wrong and it’s a closeup in natural light. In the 2007 shot her makeup suits her skin tone better and it was taken at night with a lower resolution camera.
The 2008 pic is taken indoors, from above, she has her head at an angle looking away and down with no big smile to bring out the laughter lines - not to mention it’s taken at a distance.
This is just gratuitous reporting. Along the lines of ‘any publicity is good publicity’, probably arranged for by her publicist.
